This tool is fantastic. I have the smaller version and had to have both in my toolbox. This tool will save you time and your knuckles. We all had that stubborn bolt or nut that needed a little extra leverage to loosen it. This allows you to use wrenches and rackets to gain that extra leverage to loosen those nuts and bolts. No more sliding a pipe onto the end of the rachet or trying to put two wrenches together to gain that extra leverage. This tool makes it so easy you will be happy it is in the toolbox.

Had to file down the insides of the 3/8" and 1/2" to fit my ratchet in. They worked fine after that though.

This adapter fits all my breaker bars, but few of my socket tools. Why? Because if you measure your socket tools, you'll find many are NOT 3/8" or 1/2". But breaker bars ARE. My Craftsman and Snap-On 1/2" socket handles fit. My off-brand ones did not. None of my 3/8" handles fit. I measured those - they were all slightly over 3/8". But my 3/8" and 1/2" breaker bars fit just fine. The tool is advertised for breaker bars. I'm sure that's the reason.This tool is rugged and heavy duty, albeit a bit rough looking. Cr-V Steel is super strong and you'll break your cheater bar or tool before this breaks. It works well and is compact. But, yea, I still have cold water pipe laying around as well.

I thought this would be a useful tool box addition but was wrong! I have Quality USA made ratchets by SK Wayne and the old Craftsman in 3/8ths drive. NONE of the 3 fit the poorly punched out 3/8ths inch square hole, the corners were too rounded i.e. not square enough! See the pictures. All 3 USA made tools would not fit which killed it for me. Stop, do not pass go, do not collect...If your tools are inexpensive foreign made, perhaps this is for you. It is too costly for a poorly made product. I don't care where it is made but I do care that it won't fit my USA tools! I did not bother with other permutations/uses as I was steamed.I Do NOT Recommend this overpriced Keyfit Tools BIG BERTHA BREACHER STUBBY Small.

and u dont have enough forceand there is no other ideal tool...you need just a bit more torque, add this with a ratchet wrenchand u should break most things...but not allthis can be risky, so be careful...its really a tool that is used as a last resort....
