Putting the B into Bass!
This awesome subwoofer is paired with some old M Audio monitors. The difference in sound quality and depth is amazing. This 8inch sealed mini beat will happy drop to below 30hz and give a good test to the structural integrity of the room or building it is based in.What do I like?Easy set upBluetooth consistant and easy to connect (instructiosn do help sometimes)Good build qualityThe "hockey puck" volume and sub level control is geniusWhat do I not like?Nothing really!!For the money you are buying a loud and capable sub

Home studio
I recommend this sub , it’s look a bit bigger in reality, but not complain, the sound it’s deep enough , I use in combinaition with 5 inch tops from mackie , the Bluetooth it’s work very well , it’s connect very quick.

Very good but needs a line level pre-amp!
This is a great little sub woofer but when I plugged it into my iMac and used the thru outputs to my top speaker amp the level was far too low - even at full volume. I bought a small line level RCA pre-amp which boosts up to 20db and then lowered the level of my top speaker amp to balance the sound and eventually managed to get some decent sub bass from it. The internal crossover is very useful if you already have full range speakers that need a little extra sub bass via a separate sub like this.

No isolated gain from output signal
Very frustrated that this sub does not have a separate gain adjustment from the output signal, so if you turn up the sub it turns up the monitors and vis versa. I have a pair of very powerful monitors and I can't get this sub to stand out over their sound because I can't turn it up independently.

Nice sub that pairs very well with the Mackie monitors but the BT function had wrong instructions
I like this sub and it pairs well with my cr4x speakers. The volume control that comes with it that sits on the desk is sooo convenient. Not having to get to the back panel to adjust levels is amazing and completely sold me compared to other speakers in the price range. The Bluetooth function is a complete lie though. If you look online the majority of people cant connect or even get this to show up in any device. Ive tried multiple phones, dongles for PC, you name it i tried nothing would detect it in a scan. While its not really a deal breaker for me it would have been convenient to have this feature work. But it simply does not, i havent managed to get it to show up on any of the 8 different devices i tried (android, apple, pc, dongles, laptops) So if bluetooth was that important to you i would not rely on it.It picked up a lot of EMI from my pc and would make noise when moving the mouse if using the onboard soundcard. The monitors on their own did not have this issue weirdly. I didnt get this issue with an external interface either. Some shielded cables may solve that but its no trouble to use my usb interface. anywayEdit: I figured out the issue with the bluetooth and got it to work. The instructions do not tell you the correct way to enter pairing mode, neither did the video tutorial by Mackie on how to hook up the sub. I dont know if they have changed the bluetooth component, but mine works completely differently. The instructions say to "press and release the BT button to enable pairing mode" this is wrong and does not work there are more steps. What you have to do is1.Press and release the BT button and the button will flash green fast2.The while it flashes green fast press and hold in the button and it will flash slower3.The slower flashing mode is pairing mode quickly scan and pair to it.On mine this is repeatable 100% of the time so i have no idea why Mackie give you the wrong instructions

Quality basslines
Great sound. Not made to tear down walls, but to deliver studio reference sound. Great Bluetooth function and controls. Transforms active minotor setup into a home sound system. Very good price relative to other Subs. Bigger than I expected but that's a minor quarm
