Waiting to hear from them
The thermostat has a defective fuse and won’t work. I have the fan mounted and it is very quite and is going to do what I need in my 6’x8’ greenhouse I just built. I hope I can get another thermostat from the company as I think it is a great product and I don’t want to have to unmount it and send it back.

The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly:
The GOOD: the unit looks nice and seems to be well made. I did not need the shutters but they were easy to remove. I was quite happy with how quiet it was👍. The air flow seems very good, but who knows if it is what it is supposed to be. The mechanical installation was easy, however. The BAD: the electric box on the fan is tiny. Difficult to squeeze the wires and required connectors in☹. Could have easily been made a little bigger. The adjustable thermostat is also in a separate box, the theory is that some will wire it directly to an on/off switch and not need the thermostat. It would have been much better to sell a unit with or without the thermostat. The thermostat could then be factory mounted directly on the fan body and make life simpler. The thermostat box is also barely large enough to accommodate the required wiring. To make matters worse, the thermostat is mounted on the inside cover of the box🙄, not the portion that is attached to a wall or stud. Routing the wires would have been much easier if the thermostat was mounted on the fixed portion of the box and the cover was just a cover. The ~36" cord with 3 prong plug is puzzling. It can only be used if the fan happens to be mounted next to a 110V outlet that is controlled by a switch. I cut the end off and used it to connect the fan to the thermostat box. My previous fan was hard wired to 14 gage romex cable. Problematic running the 14 gage wires into the undersized thermostat box.The fan comes with four very substantial mounting fasteners of some sort🤷♂️. They might be expanding anchors for use in concrete or block walls. They are not mentioned anywhere in the instructions and were completely useless to me.The UGLY: no ugly, I just threw that in for effect. The previous fan lasted at least 25 years and may date back to when the house was built in~1970. I will update if it doesn't last at least 25 years.

Pulls a breeze in the open windows.
I like that this fan is controlled by a thermostat. I had an electrician install it in my chicken coop to help keep them cool.

Works but wrong thermostat, not enough connectors, and leaky shutters.
The thermostat should be a cooling or normally open type. This is a heating or normally closed type. I bought another thermostat locally to fix this. Not enough wire nuts, Romeo clamps, and wire to finish the connection so I provided my own. Shutters leak a lot of air around the edges when closed, so I added weatherstripping to improve that so I wouldn’t lose so much heat at night.
