Just received my watch in the mail today. It is beautiful and am glad to have it. The second hand moves so smoothly and I love the glass. I hear most people complaining about setting the data, but if you read the instructions, there is a faster way to set it and is not that big of deal to change every month. I have to do it with my Citizen watch. The only reason why I rated this a 4 star is not due to the watch itself, but is due to the packaging. For a watch at this price, I expected more than a dented cardboard box and inside is a watch wrapped in blue bubble plastic. No box, no presentation. Much cheaper watches at least come in a nice presentation box. This might be biased, but quality should be presented well. Imagine ordering a $200 steak and they served it on a paper plate with a plastic fork.

I already own a few Vostoks, including an Amphibia. To be honest i thought this would be the cheaper relative, but everything about it looks and feels really well made, including the metal bracelet. Package took a long time to arrive and was almost fully torn open, but at least watch was safe in tough plastic box inside.Really love this watch, lots of great, quality features.

I've been wanting a Vostok for a while and I'm aware of what I'm paying for, so i wasn't going to be too picky. The watch looks great and I love it!! After a month or so, a piece of white debris showed up on the black display. It lasted for a few days then went away. I expect it to return eventually. Recently, 4-5 months after purchase, it would stop working at night. Consistently it would happen within a few hours after I went to bed. I wear the watch 100% of the time and have an active life, so winding shouldn't have been the problem. I even hand wound it right before bed a few times just to make sure, but same result. Not cool. Will contact and hope something can be done.

Besides the metal band the watch is great i put a leather strap from Walmart for like 5 dollar and it looks great
