excellent upgrade to a 20 year old crank and value
This review is for a YBEKI Pro-Grade 104 BCD narrow-wide 30 tooth chainring (red) ordered 2025-05-21 and received 2025-05-22. I paid $13.34 USD including free Amazon Prime shipping and 9.25% state and local sales taxes.Perfect fit on my 2004 Truvativ Hollzfeller RG crankset, the inside diameter of the YBEKI chainring has minimal clearance to the spider and almost exactly the same contour.Mine was packaged with 8mm long chainring bolts and "nuts". The nuts are superfluous and unusable as they are integrated into the chainring, probably because the small diameter of the 30T ring does not leave enough material for a hole large enough for the traditional female portion of the chainring fastener.I'm using an 8-speed chain so I don't seem to get the chain retention benefit of the narrow-wide tooth pattern but I have a chain retention device so No Big Deal and certainly not the manufacturer's fault.I am so pleased that I ordered another one for a spare while available and before tariffs and inflation kick in.5 stars for now, will update if any reason to knock that down.

Great chainring to balance climbing and speed
Converted a 2x9 to a 1x12 (11-50T) and originally had a 32-T chainring. Could not generate enough power with it. Swapped it for this 40-T chainring and now it flies, at least for a hybrid bike; it will never win any races. But it still climbs great to thanks to the 0.80:1 gear ratio when on the 50-T ring on the cassette. If you’re looking for a 1x10 or 1x12 conversion, or just to get a little more power out of your mtb, this is a great option!

Nice quality
Very good big gear it wouldn't work on my unit because it's a cheapo and was riveted with look like torx head screwd but were rivets. Serious a$$..le engineering. So I ended up changing the rear gear set.

Worth it
The media could not be loaded. Very affordable and does the job. It’s a normal aluminum chainring but conveniently it matches my bike color. Engages with the chain very well. I have a 2024 fast ripper

Price is great.
Worked perfectly for my 3 to1 chainring conversion on an old Trek MB.

Easy to install. Made a huge difference
This was easy to install. Appears to be made well ... time will tell. The red adds a splash of color. Most importantly it adds the gearing I was looking for with my Ebike.Followup: after several weeks, I cannot believe the difference this minor change makes! It is just what was needed.

Experiment gone wrong.
The first one never made it to my shop. The secound one did. >>>>BUT<<<<Only 2 mounting nuts made the journey, what crappy experience. Glad I had extra parts.Ya get what you pay for. Never again for me. Stick with Sram or Schimano.
