blade too small for grafting fruit trees
The blade is 3/4" long, but the slot it fits into is only 1/2" long. So a 45 degree 1/2" cut is very short for whip grafting fruit trees. This device might work for grafting tomatoes or other thin vegetative stems, but once the blade wears out it's a throw a way...there is no mention of a replacement blade. I'd like to see a larger version of this device that would hold a replaceable single edge razor blade, that would be very useful if it worked with fruit trees.
