Lovely little fruit cake fingers.
I hadn't tried these cakes before, but I like fruit cake, so I thought I would buy these.They are little cake fingers, just the right size. I liked the fact that they didn't have candied peel, as I don't like fruit cake with peel in.They were a good texture, not sickly sweet, though they are sweet.They may be a bit irresistible, but nice as a treat. Maybe adding cream or a dessert topping to them.They are not the cheapest, but they are not expensive.A nice sweet treat, maybe to share.👍😃

Better than traditional sponge fingers
If making a chocolate based trifle these are a must! i’ve used them before but bought from Waitrose as it was their recipe I was making however they no longer sells them in my store so as always you can find it in amazon. Oh and they were delivery on prime and were half the price

Cakes
These cakes are nice but let down by being a bit dry. I think changing the packaging may help keep the moisture in. But they are nice with raisins in.

I've been buying these for years, local supermarket stopped stocking them temporarily and found on amazon. They are light and lovely flavour. Sometimes you find the sultanas are a bit lacking and others there's been a sultana incident where the entire packet load fell on one fingerella lol.
