Good product

It is a good replacement for sugar. I have been ordering this now almost after every 3-4 months. My family have totally eliminated sugar and we are consuming this with our tea or any desserts been cooked in our home. Once you get the hang of the taste it becomes easier.

Product is very good but it's expensive

Watch out !! The sugar itself is probably very good and no chemicals but their processing does not seem to be hygienic… In my batch there were bug parts crushed in with the sugar. I could tell they were bugs and not other adulterants because I could see parts of the bug

White sugar is a destructive force if not used in moderation.Going by the above notion, I began using brown sugar as an alternative. But again, the quality of brown sugar is difficult to judge as there is always a possibility of adulteration.This country sugar is a perfect alternative to white sugar and the makeshift brown sugar.It took me a while to get used to its taste in my morning coffee.You may need to use it more to achieve the desired degree of sweetness but you would not have to worry about weight gain etc as in the case of white sugar.Buy it with confidence.

I don't know what the actual difference is between country sugar and jaggery is, but I basically bought this product because of the amount of product, 2 kg, and the color, as a replacement to jaggery. I was making a gingerbread that called for a certain amount of jaggery but I needed dark jaggery. At any case this was a great replacement. The taste and flavor is wonderfully dark and rich. It pairs wells with the robust flavor of ginger. I have been known to use a spoonful or two in my chai. I absolutely love this sugar.
