Jabra Evolve 65 Ms Mono

I was VERY hesitant about buying this. Your average Bluetooth headset may have decent sound output for music and whatnot, but the input typically sounds no better (and often worse) than making a call on your cell phone. Problem is, I wanted a wireless headset to use for in-game voice communications that had the audio quality (or as close to it as possible) of a wired headset. I have a 5.1 system for game audio, so I just wanted something for voice and I hate being tethered by cables or wearing headphones that will muffle my sound system audio and press on the frame of my glasses. I figured a professional grade telephone headset, like the one's I've used at work, operating on dedicated frequencies, not Bluetooth based, might be worth looking into, but they are quite expensive and include telephone desk-set specific features I really don't need. During my search I found the Evolve 65. It promised clear audio, blah blah blah, the usual stuff all Bluetooth headsets seem to promise. So I contacted Jabra. The rep I chatted with insisted the audio is clear, not just marketing nonsense, and this headset would satisfy my needs. . . . . I was not disappointed. This headset is incredible. Very light weight, worn it for many many hours of play. The battery lasts forever, charges quickly when needed, and can be used in "wired" mode with the USB charging cable plugged in to the computer for those all-day-long marathon gaming sessions that you forgot to charge the headset for the night before (oops). And most importantly, the audio is very clean and clear in both directions, it doesn't sound like typical Bluetooth wireless! I don't know what kind of processing they're doing, but the mic does a great job filtering out or significantly reducing background audio so only my voice gets transmitted, clean and clear. Works beautifully with the VOX function in Discord. I highly recommend this for any PC gamer wanting a quality voice headset that wont take away from your enjoyment of your existing sound system.---11/24/23 - Five years later and I STILL recommend this headset! It is still going strong! I've had to replace the earpad as I wore it out, took some searching to find replacements. The only other issue I've had is with garbled audio if I get too far from the computer (like out to the kitchen and back), but mounting the USB transceiver above my monitor fixed that.

I needed this for my job so I bought it. It works well, can hear clearly and comfortable to wear.

This is a great headset. It syncs easily with the PC or works great cabled to a USB port. Windows 10 had no trouble seeing it.. It's comfortable and lightweight. Be sure to register the device and keep your receipt. The ear-cuff side's band broke and I needed Jabra to replace it. They have a 2yr warranty. Jabra support is good.

Product lasted only 2 months and no longer works. Poor communications while speaking to clients. Lots of static. Requested a refund from the seller and no response. The description of the product is inaccurate. Headset constantly falls off my head and ear. Don’t buy this product. You can barely hear while talking to others.

I've used Jabra (non-bluetooth) headsets for many years and have always been happy with their quality, so when I finally decided to join the bluetooth generation I initially tried one of those tiny ones that just sits in one ear, but it just never felt right to me ,having so many years of experience of an over-the-ear and over-the-head earphones......THIS model is totally perfect for me - I prefer to keep one ear uncovered so I'm not disconnected from what is going on around me....my husband has this same model but the dual-ear style, it covers both his ears and blocks external sounds so well that (all jokes about husbands ignoring their wives aside) I have to speak very loudly to get his attention when he has it on..... for me the single-ear is the ticket. The sound quality of this model Jabra (Evolve 65) is terrific when I'm on a call, and the people I'm speaking to say that I sound great as well, and they CANNOT hear my typing while I'm on a conversation with them (that's very important for me as I'm usually taking notes).....that's how good the background-noise-cancellation feature of the mic is......I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes an over-the-head single-ear headset. It also comes with a small USB dongle (transmitter) that allows you to connect with a computer that is not already bluetooth enabled (such as older laptops and desktops)......it works great with my Mac without the dongle since newer laptops are capable of natively supporting bluetooth devices. Overall I'm VERY happy with this purchase.

Connects to my PC and Phone at the same time. Crystal clear sound. Lightweight and comfortable. I researched options for weeks before buying and I'm so glad I decided to spend the money on this headset. My ONLY complaint is that there's no easy mute button on the earpiece or boom. You have to hold the Volume Down button for 2 seconds for mute/unmute. It's awkward because when someone asks you a question, it takes about 2 seconds for you to push the button, then 2 seconds for it to unmute. Not crazy about that. If it had a boom mute, I'd give it 5 stars.

EASY SET UP, NO ISSUES. PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE DISTANCE THEY CAN BE AWAY FROM THEIR COMPUTER: HI. ITS WIRELESS. OF COURSE IT CUTS OUT THE FURTHER AWAY FROM YOUR COMPUTER. ITS NOT MAGIC. BUT IT DOES GIVE YOU FREEDOM TO MOVE AROUND AND NOT BE TIED TO THE DESK.ABOUT ME: WORK FROM HOME, 7-8 HR SHIFTS. I CAN WALK ABOUT 10-15 FEET AWAY AND HEAR FINE BEFORE IT STARTS TO CUT OUT. I CAN GO ABOUT 16-17 HOURS BEFORE I CHARGE THE HEADSET. I DO NOT LEAVE IT ON THE CHARGER 24/7.

The headphones are comfortable and work great. Would like a better system to warn me when they need recharging or a stand where I could place them to auto- recharge. Otherwise they are easy to set up and use and communication is clear.
