You gotta get it just right to work.
With this design there is an issue. The 2 pins that should create a pinch point and hold to the stringer slips more often than not. When it does catch, it works great. The manufacturer should have welded a bead or something rough on the inside so it would have a little bite to it and it would have worked perfectly.

Works but confusing
It serves its purpose and works but I get confused sometimes on how its suppose to be placed on stud to bend the board. Also sometimes it slips on pressure treated or smooth studs which causes the tool to sleep which can be annoying. But overall it has been durable and served its purpose

Poor performance.
If you have much decking to install go ahead and pay more for the tool. This one will work but it requires a lot of position changing and slips 75% of the time. Its not useless, but close to it.

Simply doesn't work
Unfortunately, this did not work for my project. Other reviewers have stated that it does not hold securely, and it slips with any pressure. I found this to be the case. I cannot recommend this product.

Maybe the handle a little bigger for more leverage and the caps pop out but pretty good
