Nice quality. Great value.
We got this grand (jumbo) kendama for our eight year old son. He has put it through rigorous use for the past two months and it is holding up very well. We have had to replace the string twice, but otherwise the kendama itself is nicely withstanding daily abuse.

Not great
I loved the look of this before I bought it. Once I got it I realized it's not all that. The paint they use isn't great and stains your hand pink. And I only played with it 3 times before the rope frayed. Not good quality. I'll stick with sweets from now on.

This is a wonderful Kendama, grandson just loves it, He uses it everyday and is in a Kendama club. It is very well made and stands up to a lot of use. I would recommend Kendama.

Garbage
Bought the Taino one. I had it break in a couple mins felt like I bought it at the dollar store. It was a 25 dollar item I bought for 18 dollar with a $ 8 discount. The ball is way to big and heavy an made of soild wood for the string. The ball is too heavy to spike. The cups near the spike are coming loose. The company said the the string should last for a long time. The said they could send new string but I said no thanks. They said if I want a full refund I have to go through Amazon. Or they can give me a huge partial refund which just ended up being the discount.

Bad Service
Bought two items, which was very dissaponting (cause the strings damaged after 2-3 days in both of them, once ball is too heavy for them), sent products back (and paid for that, and expensive), and I have been trying to have the refund for months.Still waiting for my money back. AnaJAN 5th 2013After almost one year.... And After sending several emails and trying to get in contact with the manufacturer, waiting for the refund of the 2 kendamas bought and paid by my kids, NO answers were received. Extremely disappointed with manufacturer, and feeling totally ignored by them.Company argued that toys were damaged when returned, but how come they would not be if ending falling down so many times while boys were trying to play, and strings did not support the ball?!?no service and support. Will not give up until have this problem solved, even not solving my boys frustration.Ana
