I bought this for marking out for stone-carving. I didn't know what to expect for the price, but what's arrived is a very robust and good quality tool which I have no doubt will last for many years of use. Highly recommended 👌

The media could not be loaded. Quite often at work I need to mark a circle for a pipe or vent or something similar so bought this to help mark clearer and neater circles.Comes with spare pencils which is great and the locking mechanism works fine and allows large circles of around 300mm to be drawn. Maybe more with some playing around.Pros: feels heavy / Solid- Bonus pencils- Arms can be folded together making it very thin.- Comes with a small rubber end to protect the point; not the best but helpful nonetheless.- Most importantly, draws a perfect circle!Cons: NONE!

Works fine but mechanism very stiff and arrived in worn bag with holes and is very grimy and greasy as though previously used in a workshop

Ideal instrument for many wood working projects.Supplied with 5 pencils.

These are not drawing office quality , they are however very good , more for industrial workshop use , for the money they are a bargain

These are built to last. Too heavy for a child at school but fine for an adult.

Good: Sturdy, nice hinge/pivot and locking mech. Robust. Angles at tip are good for scribing/transferring lines (without using a pencil).Downside: Pencil retaining hoop is slightly oversized, which isn’t a big problem, but would actually be an advantage if a flatter/broader screw was used for retaining the pencil, as it digs into the pencil without necessarily keeping it still. It’s too thin/narrow. Needs a foot on it, then it’d be perfect.Overall I’m pleased with it and I’ve used it a lot.
