My new black case just arrived, and it's a winner. It fits my Charge 3 perfectly, and I was concerned, because the blue and red versions are molded to the shape of the speaker (including the protrusion for the "stand," which is what keeps the speaker from rolling around). But the black case doesn't have that, which might be why reviewers have said the fit is tight.Well, the fit is definitely snug, but the zippers work great and are burly (I like the red and blue "Khanka" pulls). The block charger and USB cable fit neatly in their respective chambers, and the hard case will keep the speaker safe if I ever drop it.Another thing I like is that the case doesn't roll around. The blue and red cases have that protrusion to fit the speaker stand, so that keeps it from rolling, but if you position your speaker with the logo facing you, once you close the case, it'll stay put, as it will stand on the zippered part (with the handle up). A small thing, but I like that. The rubberized handle is a nice feature as well.All in all, a very sturdy, well-made case for a terrific price. I highly recommend it for your JBL Charge 3.

This is an excellent case. It's well made, is a hard shell with a very nice exterior covering, is very sturdy, and nicely stores the charger and the charging cable inside the same case, but separately from the JBL3 itself. The black case's red zipper is also of excellent quality. When I accidentally slipped outside and dropped the case from a height of four feet onto a concrete pad, it did not deform and perfectly protected the JBL3 inside. There is a decent, flexible, carrying handle and a flat area on the exterior shell allowing you to set the case down and it won't roll away, or roll off a table or counter top, etc. I much prefer the black exterior color with the light grey interior.

Wow, you'd think this case was built by JBL themselves - it's a perfect fit for the JBL Charge 3, and the added space on the end perfectly stores the charger on one side and the USB-to-mini charging cable on the other, with enough space left over to store a 3.5mm cable if you so desired.It folds up in a clamshell design with a very sturdy zipper, and the handle is sturdy and reinforced with a molded rubber handle around it (on the black case at least - I didn't order the other colors, but they don't seem to show this added part of the handle in the pictures.)Definitely a recommended purchase, it fits like a glove and I won't leave the house without it when I take my speaker out. Price was very, very reasonable as well.

This is a real nice product. My Charge 3 fits this case perfectly and the pockets on the end nicely accommodate usb cables and wall chargers. This case is very sturdy and well reconstructed. The material inside and out seems like good quality. The zipper works smoothly and the carry strap is strong and functional. This is damage insurance with a very reasonable price tag. I would definitely purchase this product again.

There is no Cons, period! The case is solid, durable, nice looking, the price point is better than the others, strong zipper, comfortable handle, and there is extra storage for the JBL3 charger block and cable. You can fit other cables inside. I strap this on the back of my motorcycle and if it flew off, I wouldn't worry. Now the JBL3 charge doesn't need a case, but I don't want mine t get scratched up. More importantly, the side bass speakers can be delicate. Insurance for $11.99... Dam well worth it!!!

This is a hard case, with a sturdy zipper and lightly padded liner that fits the the Charge 3 perfectly.Protects the speaker and keeps everything together by holding the cable and plug as well. Win/win.In my opinion, if you spend the money on the speaker, spend a few dollars more for the protection and storage.UPDATE...Unfortunately, after very light use, a handle separated from it's mounting point on one of my casesThis was very disappointing as the case was typically carried in a bag, leaving the handle barely used. Additionally, the handle came apart near the case body, so it's impossible to fix. Also, as the handle seam acts as a "stop" for the zipper, one of the zipper pulls came off as well.As you can see in the photo's, the case is still like new. Unfortunately for me, the return period expired before this happened. So, it is what is it is, I guess.As I have other cases where the handles haven't broken, and I still think it's a great product, I only removed one star from my original review.

I couldn’t ask for a more durable, well designed, and shockingly affordable case. The high quality design, specifically the rigid outer shell, makes it so you can bring your waterproof speaker anywhere that is needed. Great for home use, travel, or at the beach -the sound quality is great, and there’s TONS of bass to be had; Fantastic, trustable, and great out engineering was used to make this sturdy case - I am very impressed; especially consider the incredibly reasonable price. And just an FYI - I can even fit my JBL FLIP 5 in the case, with no worries.

I really like this case. My JBL Charge 3 fits snugly into its protective interior and there is an accessory compartment for the charge block and USB cable.When not in use, my speaker is always in this case. If you want to protect your speaker, I can definitely recommend this case. I do not know how it would stand up to being lugged around by hand however, it rides very well in a backpack or vehicle.
