I rarely offer up any review of a product or the support offered by the company however I feel compelled to do so this time (making this my second effort). I first became aware of the therapeutic benefits behind near infrared light as it became available over the past few years in my profession as a means to help restore meibomian gland function and help alleviate moderate to severe cases of dry eye syndrome. As I looked further into the way it worked and how many other medical applications it's been used for successfully, I decided to try the science for myself on my thinning hair. Now, I've been treating my male pattern baldness for many years with the available approved medications, finasteride and minoxidil, and with a good degree of success especially at preventing most hair follicles from complete atrophy. Unfortunately, as the years have passed this regimen became less effective, so about a year and a half ago I purchased the Alphrona 272 System largely based on the number of lasers (the more the better) and the reasonable cost among the competing devices. Let me tell you I don't regret this purchase at all. I have used the device faithfully on a daily basis since I received it, except when traveling even though it comes with a great travel case. Once again in my career I can credit amazing results to the mitochondrial stimulation of near infrared light. The addition of this device to my treatment regimen has completely reversed the bald spot forming on top of my head, to the point where now over a year later you honestly cannot detect any thinning at all. More to my amazement however has been the significant regrowth along my front hairline, from nearly dormant follicles that at 64 years old were definitely losing the battle. Understandably I simply couldn't be more satisfied with my personal results. Let me just mention a few details about the device itself. The "cap" containing the lasers is completely sealed in a clear plastic material making it easy to wipe clean and keeping it comfortable to wear; the lasers themselves are very small and only protrude a few millimeters under the plastic. There is a mild amount of heat generated during use but never approaches discomfort. There is a cable connecting the "cap" to the battery pack and that connection involves a secure screwed-together plug. The battery pack is small, lightweight, and easily slips into my front pocket. I had initially been concerned about the battery life especially since the battery pack is sealed with no user access, but so far there appears to have been no degradation in power or ability to charge rapidly. Only recently did I encounter a small issue with the toggle switch which I believe is due to wear, or perhaps dirt on the contacts causing some intermittent failure to start the device on first attempt. As the battery pack cannot be opened for me to attempt a cleaning, I only just this month reached out to the company and asked what my options might be. To my surprise and without any reservation or question, and well over a year since purchase, Alphrona immediately shipped out a replacement battery pack! At no expense at all to me. How's that for customer service? So this is why, based on my extreme satisfaction with both the device and the company, that I am letting you know in my second only review that Alphrona has a scientifically legitimate, effective, and durable device available! I hope your experience is a success as well.

I’ve been using this laser hair growth cap for a while now, and I’m really impressed with the results. My scalp feels warm and comfortable after each session. I’ve noticed that my hair is significantly less oily, and there’s a noticeable reduction in hair shedding when I wash my hair. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and will continue using it.

My husband and I started to lose hair since age of 40 and we’re try to find a good hair growth product. We tried one hair growth device from Costco, but it didn’t work and it looks ugly like a helmet. We found this Aphrona hair growth cap which consists of 272 laser diodes and cleared by FDA! The cap looks good like a normal baseball cap and very easy to use. We have been using it 30 minutes every other day per the instruction for almost 2 weeks. Although we don’t see the result yet but we’re pretty confident to see the result soon as it has 272 laser diodes. The only complaint is the cap only comes with one size which fits my head perfectly but too small for my husband who has a big head, lol 😂 We wish they would have larger size of the cap!
