I took a punt on this despite it being one of the more expensive ones, based on reviews, and that cheap tools are rarely a good investment.It has exceeded my expectations. The base is solid and heavy, and the whole thing seems sturdy and well-made. The action is smooth and without any play.The vertical shaft is off-square by about 0.1mm over 19cm.I drilled a test hole in MDF and then put the shaft of the drill bit in the hole, it fitted perfectly, and again, was off-square by 0.1mm (if that).That's accurate enough for my needs.It only has 5.5cm travel, but I doubt that will be much, if any hindrance for me.
