A lot of reviews have stated that the clock hands that come with the mechanism's do not fit on the spindle.This has not been my experience.Yes, some sets are a tight fit and you may need proper clock making tools to fit them - there is a lesson there!The tighter the fit the better, if you are making these for resale and are shipping them this is far more preferable than loose fitting hands that become detached in transit or even when the end customer is rotating the hands to set the clock.This avoids a lot of customer hassle and a hit to your reputation.Having the correct tools also avoids a lot of issues relating to bent hands, being able to use the correct force in the right area is key.Many sellers ship their mechanisms and hand sets in poor quality packaging advising you to straighten out the hands upon arrival.This is not an issue with this supplier who supplies them in a sturdy cardboard box, the hands were in perfect condition when i received them.I always test my clocks for several days before selling and these mechanisms appear, up to now, to keep good time.At £2 per mechanism these are excellent value for money.Gain a little experience and invest in decent tooling and i can't see how you would have any issues with this product.I would certainly recommend them.

I got 6 clock movements but only three sets of hands if it says 6 different sets of hands there should be six in the delivery

Making clocks I bought these mechanisms. Drilled a hole to fit spindle but when attempting to attach the hands not one of the hands would fit over the spindle tip. The holes were too small. I did manage to force a second hand on but it bent in the process. Do not buy this product you will only be disappointed.

The clock movements were fine but the hands would not fit over the shaft. Far too tight. Tried to enlarge the hole but to no avail. Luckily I had some other types which fitted fine.

Missing parts from order. There was only 4 sets of nuts and washers for 6 clocks !
