I don't know but I don't believe in China since my pan has been sturdy with no marks or flaking (typical of China-manufactured pots). It's a fabulous pan!

Q: if i burned the bottom of the frying pan accidentally will it aeffect the surface??,

I no longer have this pan as the non-stick coating isn't durable. I suggest you pursue other options.

So those of you who have an induction range top and like your bacon....start the temp at 8 1/2 and you can reduce it to 8.....you'll be mighty pleased!"
