Not a general book on astrology but helps you better understand how your unique chart can impact your life

This book went over the basics of astrology mostly focusing on the Big 3 Sun, Moon and Ascendant. I really enjoy the Chani app I even pay for the monthly full access and I rarely buy or have subscriptions. Life has been turbulent for years and I really find a lot of comfort and hope in astrology especially in Chanis interpretations. I have some interest in learning and doing others astrology perhaps and to deepen my own understanding of Astrology. This is a great basic reference and something I expect I’ll come back to in the future. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and insight.

Chani is a wellspring of knowledge! I love her app and have learned so much about astrology, the universe and myself listening to her. This book is so inspiring and helpful. It breaks down astrology and a super easy to understand way that's engaging and enlightening. I now understand my signatures, houses and am much more patient with the timing of the universe. Buying several to send to friends!

I bought this book after checking out the audio version from my local library. I've been a student of astrology for 35+ years and have been paid to do charts for folks, so I'm pretty deep into it; however, sometimes its nice to read a beginner book! This one has some insights that gave me a bit of an "aha!" I prefer to use a Placidus house system and the modern rulers when I'm interpreting a chart, but it was interesting to read my chart using the traditional rulers and without the intercepted signs that I have in several house systems. It was also a great book to send to my adult children, both of whom are interested in Astrology and know more than most of their peers, but also benefit from learning more of the basics."You Were Born for This" is a great primer for newbie astrology student and a nice refresher for those of us who have been in the field for many years.

This is a great, accessible introduction to astrology. If you want to learn about the basics in a way that is easy to understand, grab this book!
