🎵 Elevate Your Sound Experience with Wharfedale!
In the early 1980s, Wharfedale created the blueprint for modern ‘budget’ hi-fi speakers when it made the first-ever Diamond. The launch of a new Diamond range is always a major hi-fi event, What Hi-Fi described Diamond as “one of the most successful speaker ranges of all time” (What Hi-Fi? 2015). It’s also one of the most enduring – the range in it’s various guises has been on the market for the past 38 years, updated from one generation to the next. The all-new Diamond 12 Series is the best range yet, developed in collaboration with Karl-Heinz Fink – one of the most successful loudspeaker designers on the planet. Classic Diamond price points, industrial design that’s cool and contemporary yet still distinctly Wharfedale, and sound that delivers a new ‘budget’ benchmark through exceptional acoustic design and engineering are all features of the new range. Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 is a conventional bookshelf speaker and true all-rounder that embodies the legacy of the Wharfedale Diamond series. The ‘affordable’ hi-fi speaker features a compact enclosure with power and detail. Ideal for 2-channel hi-fi systems, it is also suitable for immersive home theatre regardless of room size and application. With a high-performance 5” Klarity driver for excellent timing and finetuned bass, the 25mm woven polyester dome tweeter delivers open and smooth extended high frequencies. These are great speakers for the money.
If you’re looking at getting your first HiFi speakers or you are like me sat looking at pair of speakers you’ve had for the last 15 to 20 years and thinking I could do with something new, then don’t look any further than the Wharfedale 12.1 I’ve replaced a pair of B&W 686 and I couldn’t be any happier with this purchase, the build and sound quality for £249 is exceptional, after two days running these in I find myself digging through my cd collection playing disc after disc, the detail and soundstage these speakers deliver is really good, even streaming through Apple Music and Amazon these speakers deliver.I’ve got them connected to a Cyrus 6 amp bi-wired sat on atacama stands spiked to the floor just a few inches from the wall and yeah I’m blown away with everything about them and they look great as well.

Budget speakers with quality 👌
Wharfedale just keep on doing it, here we have a pair of quality budget entry speakers for a reasonable & modest outlay Build quality for the money is superb Had mine a couple of weeks now & being used continously are well & truly run in Sound, again for your outlay is excellent, keeping in mind you're feeding them with a decent source, so no complaining here, In my humble opinion to me they sound very similar to my Q Acoustic 3020i with a familiar sound stage , separation & presence but no surprises there as they're designed by the same guy Fink Anyway if you're looking for great quality budget speakers without a ig outlay then buy with confidence, no sweat 😀

Rich sound and good build quality
Nice robust solid speakers. One cool thing is the front grills are magnetic and easily removed and refitted. Sound great, although still need a good few hours of “running in” to get full feel for audio. Bi connections are good quality, using banana sockets.

A little disappointed
Sounded too bass heavy for my taste. Prefer my Diamond 9.1s. Balanced presentation of 9.1s I found more pleasing.

Brilliant
I’ve only had these. A couple of days not run in yet bet all I can say these are great. I’ve gone from my my neat motive 3 and these are far superior than my 15 year old motives which is a great speaker. But the treble and bass are great can’t wait for these to be run in. Very satisfied customer. Bean.
