These are very good poles and fold down to fit in the bag, locking in place when extended. The grips are comfy and they adjust for different heights. My husband has Parkinson’s and needs these to help keep his posture good when walking. He finds they help and at a competitive price for 2 well worth the money

Have used lots of trekking poles over the year's,Leki,Karrimor etc & these are every bit as good as any of them,I actually prefer these to others I currently own as they fold up much smaller & attach easily to my backpack taking up very little room. At the current price of around £22 they are fantastic value!!

Good quality of a little fiddly to get used to.

I wanted a compact set of walking sticks, not the traditional twist lock sticks, and these fitted the bill perfectly. They fit together really quickly, pull to lock, and adjust the height with a single clip. All done in 15-20 seconds, perfect. Undoing them is just as easy in reverse, and the velcro strap keeps the loose links together nicely. The included carry sack is ideal for transport, and fits easily in a rucksack if you want. Also included are a set of stick tips, including;- mud cups, snow baskets, walking feet for tarmac, and two clips for keeping stretched out sticks together.After nearly nine months the sprung ball which keeps the sticks stretched out broke on one of my sticks, and receded inside the stick. After contacting the seller (with a photo of the damage) they very quickly replied, and promptly arranged for a repplacement set of sticks to be sent. I love the sticks, and have great relief in a reliable seller. I'd be very happy to reccomend these sticks (and the seller) to any users.

I chose these from a myriad of similar brands and have not been disappointed yet.Quick delivery ,sturdy design and easy to assemble.I took them for a 4 hour walk along the new river path in North London and they performed well even though the route is relatively even they give you more control of your walking.Please note that you cannot take collapsible hiking poles as cabin baggage if you are flying abroad as they are considered a dangerous weapon!!!!Happy hiking 👍

When I first got these I thought they were great. They appeared well made and fit for purpose. I especially liked the fact that they folded down into 3 pieces so could easily fit in my bag. But, after using them 4 times for walks in the Scottish mountains one of the poles broke. I'm not sure if it is a design or a manufacturing flaw but, on one of the poles, the little spring loaded catch that tensions the pole ( the so called hidden buckle) broke. I tried contacting the manufacturer via the support email address in the instruction leaflet without reply so ended up contacting Amazon support who were happy to refund my purchase. Needless to say I will be looking at a different brand for my next set of poles. Hopefully it is a one off manufacturing defect hence the 3 star review.

I bought a pair of poles for medical rather than trekking reasons. An operation left me with walking stability problems and at first I used a frame then graduated to two sticks. In order to travel abroad I wanted sticks that would fold up but could still be used to help in airports etc. These Glymnis poles are brilliant. When folded they fit into even a small knapsack; they are easy and quick to assemble and fold down; and they are light but feel secure. Each pole comes in four sections but when you unpack them they are joined together on a single tensioning cable so are all in the right order. You slot the two bottom sections together and pull out the third section till the whole pole tensions and a button snaps out to lock it in place. You can extend the pole further if desired by adjusting the fourth, handle section. To collapse the pole just press in the button. I have used them in airports and they store easily in cabin baggage. I have also used them on a variety of hard and soft out-door surfaces (for which you are provided with a selection of "feet" for each pole), but not for serious hiking, though I have no reason to doubt their suitability for that. They have so far proved to be a great purchase.

I only opened the package this week as I am going away next week camping so I missed the return deadline which I am now NOT happy about. I was very disappointed to find that these poles are so flimsy and substandard, they can't be locked into place and the bottom sections of both poles kept falling out every time I tried to use them. They don't inspire confidence in using them when you need them to help support you on uneven ground or a steep surface for balance. I'm fearful that these will collapse or give way which could lead to an accident or injury.I am gutted that I am now stuck with them and I definitely will NOT be taking them hiking with me. I will not be able to put any trust in these poles delivering what they were claimed to, absolute inferior product. Extremely unhappy with this purchase. I want a full refund!!!!!
