Orijen Tundra 4.4lb Wholeprey Grain-Free Dog Food

After years (literally) of reading reviews, looking at ingredients while searching for the no-nos and quality ingredients according to the myriad articles I've read, I finally bit the bullet and paid the price for Tundra. It's well worth it! I can't afford the 2 cups a day that Kira requires, but even a quarter of that has improved her appetite, gusto for eating breakfast and dinner, and her energy. She doesn't get to go to the doggie park very often, so she had lost the hard muscle she had when she adopted us 4 years ago. In fact she had become a bit lazy and fat. No more! She is back to the lean hound mix (greyhound maybe?) she had been. More interest in the action on the street, more life and light in her eyes, and shiney black coat. She doesn't play ball, but at the park she leaves the other dogs panting way far behind her when she runs. She wears them all out! Orijen is the one food I will continue to give her. And Tundra is the best.

This is my favorite blend. My french bulldog loves it and is healthy and happy. I've been feeding her orijen her whole life and love the brand. I was disappointed however, when they started manufacturing some blends in the US instead of Canada. Tundra is still made in Canada and has a great variety in it. Here is some advice.. I used to get the 13 lb bags and I would notice that towards the end of the bag, about 1 month in, she would start turning away from her food after smelling it. I just thought she wanted something different and didnt think much of it. I would notice a not as fresh odor though. It wasnt until she got a gastrointestinal illness for a week out of the blue, that I started researching what might have caused it. My conclusion was dry dog food going rancid. I am a firm believer after all of my research and experience that I was buying too big of a bag and it would start going rancid.. anyway, my advice is to buy the smallest bag you can that is reasonable, to avoid rancidity from happening. My dog has now stopped turning away from her food and hasnt gotten sick again.

This is a very high quality dog food, although admittedly pricey. I alternate between this and Fromm (pricey, but a little less pricey than Orijen) as I have a 75 pound pitbull. We go through a lot of food.

Received the Orijen Tundra dog kibble quickly and it was fresh. My dog loves this food so much, when his bowl is empty he drags it into the living room and dramatically flips it over so we know he needs more NOW! Lol! I do love the freshness and ingredients, and the price is kinda high no matter where you buy it from. This seller has a competitive price.

Good product, dogs like it. Found out that Chewy sells a larger size at a cheaper price.

My dog loves this food, it’s to expensive to feed alone, but I use it as a topper.My dog was limping, but after feeding her tundra, she stopped after a couple of weeks, and never started again.This food even only as a topper is doing so well for my dog

My rat-terrier absolutely LOVES this dog food! After a year of trying to find a dry dog food she liked, I'm SO happy to have found this brand. We tried Castor and Pollix organix and she would not eat it, we tried CP Organix with raw bites, (she only ate the raw bites and spit out the dry kibble), tried wholesome foods dry food, HALO. Now that I've found Orijen Tundra, she's so excited when meal time comes around she starts spinning in circles! I'm going to try out the other flavors next and if she likes them as much as this one, I'll be sure to write some reviews.I'd also like to comment on how QUICK this dog food was delivered. I ordered it on a Friday and it came the following sunday! WOW! Fast service!

LIving in the US, this is the only formula of Origen made in the Canadian plant, that I can buy. So, I keep buying it as part of my high-quality custom kibble mix. My furry little buddy seems to actually like the goat-flavor.
