Q: What type of plastic is this made of?

The plastic is very cheaply made, I had to return the first one as it arrived with a crack down the seam and so it did not work. At that time, they did not refund me but offered another one as a replacement, and as Thanksgiving was approaching, I said ok. So, the new one arrived, and it worked for about 2 minutes but since you use it to baste, the juices are hot and that separated the plastic and the squeezy enough to not make a seal and again, it does not work. Better going to local grocery store and picking up one for more money but better made. Luck. 1 Star because a 0 star is not an option.

Q: Where is bnyd manufacturing this from?

The bulb has Made In China etched on the top. The bulb does not create enough suction for this to work correctly. If you have the barrel pointed down even with the bulb depressed, everything runs out. I suggest that you look at something from a reputable US or European manufacturer. The model is worthless.
