I am learning to play dun-duns and this is a great set for practice and mobility. Outstanding customer service! I initially had a problem with one of the drums making a rattling sound. I contacted the seller and they promptly replied with several solutions. I chose the best option for me and am happily drumming!

For what they are these are nice drums. Obviously, due to their smaller size they don’t sound as full and rich as full size duns, but that is to be expected. They are great for practice and if you need to travel light.One problem - they came with some sort of larvae in and on them, which later became a moth-like insect that likes to bore holes in the shells. My drums now have many holes all over them. Apparently, these bugs are resistant to our bug sprays. I sprayed them several times with no effect. Finally, I sprayed them thoroughly, sprayed the drum bags I bought for them, put the drums in the bags and let them sit for a couple of weeks. This seems to have worked. (The same thing happened to a friend of mine who also bought these drums)Overall, I like the drums; they sound pretty good, they are a lot lighter than full size drums, and are well made. Just be aware of the insect problem and spray the heck out of them before they become a menace that bores holes in your drum shells.
