TIGster Premium Flame Resistant Snug Fit Kidskin TIG Welding Gloves-XL

OK, I've had a pair of these gloves for a long time, purchased because they're nice and comfortable, BUT these are TIG gloves and not MIG gloves. I only have a MIG. For close in control with MIG the heat is too much for these gloves and over time I burnt them up pretty good. The only reason I used 3 stars in Durability and Heat Resistance is to draw attention to the unsuitability for MIG welding, at lease for my MIG welding style, good or bad. But, I have a TIG on the way and I've ordered this new pair to get ready. These are very nice gloves and I may decide that replacing them now and then and still use them for MIG welding is worth it.

Great fitting TIG welding glove the thin leather is soft to the touch (really helps when you reaching for another filler rod) Important: I'm on my third or fourth pair now. They are not work around the shop gloves they are not mig welding gloves, although I do use a old pair for a quick tack or two. This idea of 'mig gloves' being for 'mig welding' and 'tig gloves' being for 'tig welding' ugh.. (rocket science right?)Just a tip some occasional leather conditioning after welding does wonders, just use the spray stuff.

they work good for welding but they are not so good if they get to hot on the back side

Even if you're not a welder, this is a good, high quality work glove for mechanics, landscapers, machinists and general DIY.Fantastic felt-lined, kidskin palm heat and flame resistant glove. A great buy for the price. My only complaint is that the white leather gets dirty very quick handling less than clean steel and stick welding. I have big hands with long, fairly thick but not fat fingers and theseOn the other hand, these high-quality hand-shoes are cheap enough I can afford to buy another pair to keep pristine for contaminant-free TIG welding of aluminum aircraft parts... and one for titanium, and one for stainless.

This is by far my worst purchase on Amazon, i've received the glove and used it the same day only to have it ripped open within two hours of use if it even lasted that long! this is unbelievable and extremely upsetting. The seller needs to discard all those dry rotted useless gloves and restock sturdy strong glove that actually last.

My old pair of these were the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn. They lasted years and because of their dexterity I looked forward to putting them on.

These gloves are wonderful, probably the most comfortable I’ve had so far , and for a hobby welder they’d be great. For me thou they lasted about 2 weeks . I work in a production fab shop and these didn’t hold up to the high demand of our work. .
