I make a lot of coil baskets and this is the inter cord that I use. It is thick and makes the basket very sturdy. I’m sure there are other uses for it, but this was what I bought it for you are making a coil basket. Then this is the size that you want to use.

It's everything I need it to be and the price is right.I use this for dog toys. My puppy is destructive for toys and this rope is lasting pretty well. I feed it through a rubber ball with a hole on either side and knot the ends. Charlee loves to run around shaking her "ropey ball" by the rope and whipping around the ball end like a chain mace and hitting her own sides.

I sewed a fabric basket using the 3/8-inch rope. I found it to be a little too hard and thick for my sewing machine. Although the product was well-built and packaged, it just didn’t work as I had hoped for my project.

This cotton rope works well as a pull rope in bare hands. I could have went with 5/16 instead of 3/8 for this purpose.

I strung it along the bottom hem of my porch curtains to add weight to them so they wouldn't blow in the wind quite so much. Had to use hot glue to seal the ends but so far now the plan is working well.

Aftunwrapping the rope, the first thing I noticed that it smelled bad. It is soft and consistent, but the smell made me wonder about the contentof the rope. I pulled the bar code sticker back and it said it was polyester. I opened it to make sure. The core was cotton strands and the outer layer had polyester in it.The information in the listing is that it is 100% cotton and would be good for making pet toys. It is not.
