Easy Install & Functioning as Advertised
I installed new Monroe TS 171352 struts on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma. Just as some reviewers pointed out about this strut, the spring is not as stiff as the original. The ride is smooth, but the front end bottomed out when going over bumps particularly at slow speeds. I expected much better from Monroe. I was not interested in changing out the Monroe struts as it was a BEACH to put them on. Therefore, I decided to try some sort of spring stiffener. Researching what was out there, I came across the Rubber Dura Shox Shock website. The reviews were favorable, the product appeared suited for my needs, and the price was low enough to give it a try.I measured per instructions and ordered a DuraSHOCK CSB Super "F". I could have gone with the "E" size but decided on the smaller because I was not interested in lifting the truck but only to improve spring stiffness. I installed the DuraSHOCK the day after receiving them. It took me less than an hour to install and did not even have to remove the wheels. It was pretty easy once I figured out a better approach than what the instructions say. I did use WD40 and first tried to install as instructed but quickly saw this as a frustrating battle. I then decided to first seat the bottom grove onto the spring while wrapping it around. After the bottom was seated, starting in the middle, I used a blunt 1/4" flat blade screwdriver to push the top inner edge/lip under the spring and worked my way to one end. Then repeated the same process from the middle to the other end. It worked like a charm. Zip tied those suckers and took off for a test drive. Went across the first speed bump that the Monroe's always bottomed out on. The DuraSHOCK worked great. The truck did not bottom out and the ride was back to normal with a slightly stiffer handling. The DuraSHOCK was a great improvement to my truck's handling and ride.

Boy am I sorry
I have been shopping with Amazon for years and years - I have never been sorry about something I ordered until today - I should have known better - I wasted a lot of time that i will never ever get back in my life -One thing that would help (this is something and i should have known - is the measurement for the diameter of the spring - and what shaped the coil is in - it ROUND? - is it Oval? will it work on my specific carFool me once.....And the best part is...they tell you it might work (fit) better if you cut it... Well now its cut it's not working why would you take it back now I damaged it -do your self a favor...enjoy your life stay away from this product unless you know for sure or have a friend that has the same car and used them

Great help for soft springs
Easier to install than airbags. I needed to raise the rear of my Accura MDX to help when there are passengers in the third seat, these did the trick. I originally had Firestone airbags in but couldn’t stop the rubber squeak. they require taking the spring out to install the bladder but these went in in ten minutes both sides.

they work well on small car with small springs
these fit my geo metro sedan. I tried a few other ones which were to fat to fit in. These slipped in pretty easily. As far as apearance they maybe ony raised the back 1/2" , I cannot see much difference in height, however the car handles better and feels less like it is crouching back when accelerating from a stop and handles better around turns. So it mitigated the sag from the old springs. The ride is still good not too bumpy. So the product did just what I wanted. I hope they last. they seem like they are well made. So they work well on such a small car with small springs

Not for all applications
I found out the expensive way. Not good for all vehicles. I have a lexus is250. I upgraded to 22"rims, which was another mistake, but looks good. In the front right off the bat rubbing issues, I stumbled upon this product thinking it looks like it could solve my problem. I just needed a little bit of clearance to prevent the rubbing and thought this would be perfect. The first ones I ordered. We're too big, so those were returned. The second set I purchased were the correct ones, but they are difficult to install. But finally got them installed, and yes, it did work. Gave me about a 1/2 inch of clearance rubbing was brought to a minimum. I was happy with the look. I was happy with the quick fix. However... unfortunately my route to work has a two pretty nasty bumps on the freeway, which I always forget about. And doing the required minimum speed of 90mph as I hit the first bump, I heard a loud clunk coming from the passenger side. As I hit the second bump on my journey, I heard the clunk again from the passenger side. Definitely sounded like picked it damage. As I got off work, I noticed a puddle of something under the passenger side front area, not knowing where it was coming from. By the time I got home, I noticed it was riding a little funny. The next day I went out to my car and noticed a significantly large puddle of oil under the front, right. Long story short turns out when I installed the spring spacers, it lifted the car a 1/2 inch, which took away from the extension of the strut. Turns out it hyperextended the shock. Kind of like bottoming out the shock, but in the opposite direction, which damaged the strut, causing a massive oil leak and destroyed the strut. So to solve the problem ended up replacing everything with BC coilovers. 🤷 moral of the story these work, but not in all cars, I would more recommend these for trucks, suvs, van's etc.

Worked great, make sure you measure first.
The install info was good and only took a few minutes to install on my 2012 BMW 135i. I bought these to install on the front due to the fact the car kept bottoming out on rough roads. After a day of driving g after the install I’m happy to report they worked perfectly. Just make sure you follow directions and measure so you get the lift you are looking for.

It’s worth the purchase
I used 2 of these on the rear left and right side spring. It’s on a 2014 Honda CRV . Raised the height approximately 1” and it made a huge difference in ride comfort and stability.
