Got this book for 2 year old grandsons. They love pushing on the dots, and the book is good.

My one and a half-year-old is obsessed with this book. He is able to pop them easily and laughs every time. We really haven’t read the book because he’s more interested in popping it which is OK because it allows me to do some things around the house while he is enjoying his book. The only issue I have with the book is how heavy it is. He has trouble hanging onto it and carrying it and because of the size and the way that he does carry it, it is coming apart at the binding which I will need to re-glue. I would buy it again and again

This is a GREAT book for busy kids! My 2 year old loves it, and even my 4 year old enjoys it. The “dots” are very satisfying to snap and it’s cleverly designed so there is no need to reset. Reading the book from start to finish will do it. If you love popping bubble wrap- this is for you! I also appreciated the snaps not being thunderous, so it’s not too annoying when my kids play with this for half an hour. Highly recommend and want to grab another! The book IS kind of heavy due to the materials and the front cover is already getting a tad loose from the binding but I imagine it will hold up for quite awhile.

This book is educational but heavy. I think toddlers will enjoy this book.

I selected buy new. But it arrived ripped . I just put some packing tape over the spine of the book to fix it. My son is 2 and loves the book ether way.

EXCELLENT! We already own the Old MacDonald version but the dots were hard to push down and made practically no noise on the right side pages.... plus the dots wore out quickly and no longer would depress and hold it. So, I took a chance getting this newer book, because my son loves the concept and finds this type-of-book very engaging - Honestly, I hoped some of the quirks were worked out before producing this new book, but I did not know if this book would be any better. Fortunately, this book was WAY better. My 13 month old son could easily push down the buttons and they made noises on both pages (though there is no way to avoid the right side being not as loud... but at least it was still loud enough for my son to be pleased unlike the MacDonald book.) It is my son's new favorite book! Thanks!

I purchased this Melissa & Doug Poke-a-Dot book, Good Night Animals, for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and 15-month old great niece for Christmas. Our granddaughter has other Poke-a-Dot books and she loves them. Our little great niece is too young to learn to count, but it didn't take long and she was engrossed in looking at the pictures and popping the bubbles. These interactive board books are very sturdy, the illustrations are cute, and they help encourage language development, counting, and fine motor skills. Popping the bubbles really keeps the little ones' attention.
