Price was right, but factory seconds?
Picked these up for $160, but did notice a small chunk of the outsole was missing. Won’t interfere with structure/functionality.Love the 500 “original” series. I have skinny feet and can’t fit the 550 series, because they’re quite wide on me, but these feel custom made and comfortable out of the box

Good looks and good quality
I've had these boots for a couple of weeks and so far they've been great. They seem to be waterproof even without the waterproof wax. Just keep in mind when ordering blundstones that the difference between full and half size is the width so when I originally ordered a 9 1/2 being that I wear a US 10 1/2 it was too roomy in the front so I went down to a 9 and now it fits nice

EXCELLENT BOOTS!
FANTASTIC. Ignore the comments about crumbling soles. That's over and these are a quality product. And they can be re-soled!After MUCH deliberation, I purchased the classic 500 in dark brown. I love the look. They are waterproof in rain, snow and mud. I wear them everywhere, including hiking in the mountains. I love that these are unlined. I wear wool socks and my feet stay warm in cold weather and don't get hot and sweaty ever.

Quality has really crumbled, feel it in my sole
Been a loyal Blunnies customer for 30 years since my days at Melbourne Uni, bought my first pair at the dearly departed Sam Bear in the city. And that pair came with me to the States where they went through years of Chicago winters and Los Angeles pavements. Then I bought a replacement pair when those eventually wore down, and so on. This pair I bought when I moved to Phoenix eight years ago, where they were lightly used as we have no salty winters, only light gardening. This is the sad result. I’m led to understand management shifted production offshore, and no less than Russell Crowe has suffered a similar fate with his boots. The quality jig is up at Blundstone. I urge you to buy Australian brands like Redback or if you can afford it RM Williams who still make in Australia.

Incredibly comfortable.
These boots fit very well, and look very stylish. Beware: they don’t have a non-marking sole.Edit: after having worn these boots daily for a few years, they actually do have a non marking sole, you just need to scuff through the outer coating.

Don't like them as much as I thought I would
I was looking for a shoe that was somewhat water resistant and no laces for wear in a winter climate. These are decent looking and go well with khakis or jeans. I will break this down into likes and dislikes.Likes:No laces. The dark brown goes with brown or black pants. They are a very dark brown.Dislikes:Rather difficult to pull on. They scuff extremely easily. Very hard to keep clean. My pants are constantly getting caught up on the tags that are supposed to help you pull the boots on. May have caused my achilles tendonitis. See below. When I first received these I wore them while meeting some friends at the bar. I had to walk about 1/4 mile from where I parked. The next morning I noticed my achilles tendon was very sore. These boots do not have a very good arch support and seem rather flat on the sole. I bought some gel inserts and they didn't help much at all. It has been 6 months and my tendonitis is still an issue. I just retired these boots and bought some Dockers and the shock absorption and comfort is so much better. I am already feeling much less aggravation of the achilles. The leather on these boots is very thin. I brushed up against something that tore a slight flap in the toe area and I had to glue it back down because it was a different color underneath. Now of course I have a shiny glue mark on the toe of my boots. I have to wipe the scuff marks off these boots daily. Drives me nuts. They show everything.I thought I would love these boots but I will not buy them again, especially for the price. I just bought two pairs of Dockers for less than $100 bucks.
