Frienda Dc 12v 24v 36v 48v 72v Battery Meter with Alarm Battery Capacity Indicator Monitor Voltage Meter and Lithium Ion Indicator(Blue Light)

First off, I thought I was getting two for this order. I should have combed the reviews beforehand as I see others had the same expectations. I purchased this for a 36 volt project with a lithium battery bank, and it still reads 100% when the bank is empty at 30 volts. Also there is a button on the back of the unit that does nothing.

I got caught not paying attention to their game. The main image shows 2 and I didn't take the time to read far enough down the page to catch where they hide the fact that the listing is for 1. But make no mistake, they show it this way on purpose and probably catch a lot of people in the same gimmick.

It does what it is intended for. Easy readout, simple to operate. The big reason for a mediocre review is that you only get 1. The image for the product shows 2, giving you the impression that’s what you get. Nope, just 1.

Only received one. First display completely misleading.

Deceptive advertising!! Photo shows quantity two but you only get one. Shame on me for not confirming exactly what I was getting but deceiving customers results in one strike you’re out!

Installed this to be part of the lid to my RV/Solar System plastic battery boxes. Connected it to the battery with a SAE plug so I can quickly and easily monitor my batteries charge in the off season while in storage. It works great for my application and the voltage readings were verified with my volt meter. Take the % charge with a grain of salt since it is dependent on various factors but it is probably somewhat representative at around 70 degrees.

Can confirm Completely different than what is shown. Only works on 12V, directions are for a completely different unit.

The instruction leaflet provided is for a completely different unit written in Chinenglish so it makes no sense anyway. This meter will only show 12V not multiples according to number of batteries connected.There is a button on the back that does nothing! Amazon description is misleading and needs to be changed.

The cable that plugs into the back of the unit is of terrible quality. The wires came out of the connector minutes after taking this photo. Over priced and far cheaper for the same product on eBay.

A neat unit and good value for money in my opinion. When connected and lit a default condition displays a car battery's terminal voltage. Mine read 12.1. With just two buttons to change settings and a little ambiguity as to which button does what, and for how long to press it, it took a little time to change from a voltage indication to a % display. Other batteries can also be selected together with the number of cells. My requirement was for a car battery supplying the caravan type LED lighting in my garden chalet so I did not spend too long on the test bench trying things out. A nice unit will use others in time for sure.

The voltage reading is accurate however the % always shows 100%. This is because when the voltage reading drops it will still be a 100% at the lower voltage. The % only drops when a load is put on the battery.

Too expensive for what it does, which isn't much. Only shows percentage & voltage, if that's all you want, get it for £2 off ebay
