Mikuni Adapter 6 Hole for fitting Harley CV or S&S Shorty air-cleaners to HSR or HS40 (when using additional Mikunioz sleeve)

I built my first RevTech engine and was plagued by the fact that Mikuni's don't have any cool air filters that fit them, or atleast what I've found. I purchased this and found it to be perfect. I was wary about the fact that the only thing that holds it on is a rubber o ring but it fits just as tight as a clamp would hold the filter on and it's convient that all you have to do is pull it off to remove the filter. Very easy to make adjustments on the carb. I added a C/V velocity stack and made the bike look amazing.

Adapter fit good but o-ring is too big

Bummed. Bought this to run a S&S Super - teardrop air cleaner with my Mikuni HSR42. Just spent the last 20 minutes turning this thing trying to match the holes, but no dice.

OEM mikuni, would order again if needed

We will start with purchase and shipping as I have not yet installed the carbs. I am located near washington DC, USA. The package came free shipping and with-in 2 weeks. US postal service can't get a package to me from New Jersey that fast. Carbs were packed great. Everything is there and looks perfect. If these do not work, it's on me. Will advise on how installation goes. Great direction on making sure they would fit, lets hope I read the ruler right. I found no one in the US that had or was interested in supplying these carbs. And yes the parts would have cost almost as much as the kit from US suppliers.
