Cheap cheap cheap
Guess what let’s get a crummy little brush a leaking colaspsible cup a few tiny scraps of paper and some paints throw them in a plastic bag and sell them on Amazon Dash what the manufacturers this product thought. So the paints were kind of nice but you really could do better just find me proper items waste of money.

Great set for my son's visual sensory needs!
This set is exactly perfect for my son. Not a special needs activity, however, for my autistic son this is awesome. For years people haven't been able to give me many answers to his marking up walls, furniture, carpets, other people' home work, important paper work...you get the idea-- this kid marks up anything and then throws it away- expect the things that are attached to the house or furniture ;) ... No one had answers on why he does this, what I should do about it, how to stop it. We were given a few ideas to help move it to an appropriate place- his own paper. Over the last few years he has ruined less furniture and walls (and homework) but still really loves marking and watching us write...visual! Cue this great set. I wish they were made from a firmer rubber instead of foamy-like rubber (you know like those foam stickers??)...its going to take one bad mood and he'll start ripping them apart (fingers crossed that wont happen!), but for now he loves it. He wanted it open right away Christmas morning. He painted a great picture, then ripped it and threw it away...point is, they worked great, satisfied his visual sensory need and were easy for me to clean! All pluses for me! I say all of this because there *might* be a mom out there with a kid like mine- autistic/"differently abled" or not, who just likes to mark. People (including teachers/OT/ABA, etc) might act they have never seen a kid so obsessed with marking things up, telling you they haven't figured him/her out yet. But you aren't alone and you should get this paint set! :)

Great for my 2 year old!
My 2 year old enjoys this paint set. Colors look good on paper. Brushes work well enough for her to enjoy painting. My only call out is the travel bag- the opening is not wide enough to pull everything out smoothly (see pic). Not a big deal, you can pull out with a few tugs.

Way overpriced!
I buy on amazon all the time, but rarely leave product reviews. This one was bad enough to make me want to get on here and leave a review, in hopes of preventing someone else from paying too much for this. This product consists of: 5 super cheap and flimsy brushes (cheap plastic handle and foam brush piece), some pieces of paper, some small bottles of paint and an idea pamphlet. I really bought this for the brushes. I had this on my wish list forever and finally had a reason to buy it when my son decided on an art party for his third birthday. The brushes are really poor quality for the price and if you are a parent buying this for your child, you probably don't care about the small amounts of paint or the paper. Today I was at michaels and discovered that you can get a package of 4 or 5 of the smaller brushes (the exact 2 smaller ones in this kit) for a mere $2. The other three brushes in this kit are worth probably about $1 or $2 for all three. And again, if your buying this for your kid, it's highly likely you don't need the paint or paper anyway, and who needs an idea book for texture painting?? Pretty self explanatory. So this ends up being very overpriced. Check your local craft store instead, and I'm going to check school supply type websites for higher quality texture brushes.
