Most fresh quality I've tried
Left side is product. Right side is the next most fresh schisandra berries I have purchased on Amazon. This schisandra berries have more reddish hint to it, but I did not want my eyes to deceive me. When I took a bite, both batches give that distinct schisandra berry taste (5 flavors: sweet, salty, bitter, sour, and the fifth one I always forget).I'll have to say that this schisandra tastes more true to the fresh un-dried form. It has a more sour and sweetness to it. The remaining three flavor taste about the same to my palate.I will say that people can have different preference. If you are shooting for that more fruity, sweet, and sour taste, this is the winner. I'm contrast, if you want earthier ground flavor, the darker one might be better for you. I personally prefer the former.Price-wise they are similar. This schisandra costs about .10 cents higher per ounce. So, there is that.FYI, I never buy the "extracts" and powdered forms bc I can never trust what other stuff manufacturers put in them. And my body can recognize the difference because health benefits do manifest with my body.I get more energetic but not in the jittery sense. My become more focused without getting brain fogged. And I don't sacrifice energy with sleep at night. You get the energy minus the side effects basically. But don't expect some magic steroid energy boost.

Fresh looking berries. Outstanding liver support
I’ve tried several brands. This is the best so far. Berries come in a foil type bag. Berries inside look amazing and the tea is robust and and quite delicious. Just don’t make it too strong or the bitterness is the top note in flavor. I use shisandra everyday for cirrhosis.

TASTES GOOD BUT DID IT HELP
The following instructions were on the website under the product description:Schisandra berry tea can be made with 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried schisandra berries and 8 to 10 ounces of water. Boil the tea for 5 to 7 minutes for herbal tea. For the best schisandra berry tea benefits, it’s recommended that you drink it about three times a day. Unfortunately, the same was on the product. But the instructions was on paper and not on a material that when wet would not fade. My instructions faded and I was a little disappointed having to go back on Amazon to learn how to make the tea. The packaging was in a Mylar bag which protected the product and kept the berries dry, Thank goodness for that.Although the company does not make any claims on the benefits of the Schisandra berries on their website, it does display a disclaimer that states the berries "are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition." This is a very common disclaimer for all health supplements since they have not been evaluated by the FDA.I really enjoy the taste of the tea, but I am not sure if it has helped me yet. I purchased the 4 oz. bag. I started the tea on or about February 3, 2024. I probably will finish the bag by the end of February. However, I do not know whether I will get another order. If I do, I would order a larger bag.

Bright and fresh
Excellent product. Berries are bright, dried well, packaged well and look very fresh. The Mylar bag protects a dried product from sunlight and oxygen that causes deterioration to fresh fruits and veggies. Made my first tea which was tasty and the berries rehydrated nice and are plump/squishy. Hopeful for the stated benefits. Recommend this seller.

Had fresher, tastier and in general, had better.
Had to order this shisandra because my usual organic dried berries weren’t available, had a very funny taste, and the berries look old as if they have been harvested and dried many months ago.
