I recently started a volunteer position where I have to hold an iPad for an hour at a time. The first time my left hand cramped up and hurt for hours after. My arthritis really kicked in. So I found this "joylink Universal Tablet Hand Holder Strap" and used it today for the first time. It worked very well and my left hand was fine. I like that I can adjust it too, to make sure it's comfortable. It took me a minute to attach it to the iPad, but I think it will get easier each time. I have to turn in the iPad after each shift, so I will be putting the Strap on and taking it off each time. It seems pretty sturdy and I think it will hold up.

I bought this for making reading more comfortable on my 2017 Kindle Fire 10". The strap covers either the power button or the volume button. It is possible to carefully maneuver the strap so it doesn't fully depress the button, but it easily slips and the button gets triggered. I've taken to using it with a trimmed toothpick to avoid that, obviously not ideal.The product itself has a cheap feel to it. The handle swivels easily, but is just a bit too tight on the hand and not as comfortable as I was hoping for. Based on the feel of the materials I don't expect it to hold up too long, especially if the elastic goes bad. My plan is to use this until it wears out and then find something better.

Ipads are great, but they are hard to hold, with smooth surfaces, and the newer ones are also very light, making them easier to drop. Thus, a strap is pretty much de riguer. My previous strap was made of rubber and had 2 problems: it eventually wore through and broke on one end, and the edges that hooked around the diagonal top and bottom kept significantly encroaching onto the screen and it was a pain to keep having to push them back. This, I'm happy to say, has neither of those. It's made of faux leather, so will be very durable. And, when placed as instructed, it barely touches the screen. In addition, this has a rotating hand holder, making it easy to hold in any orientation.

Easy to install .. nice product

The product is great. Excellent price, simple, sturdy construction. Easy to install on the iPad and to use even with the magnetic cover.It allows me to move easily when Iam holding the tablet and makes it possible to grab other devices or to quickly do something else without putting down the device (or dropping it!).I use my two iPads a lot for webbrowsing, to read and grade exams and assignments using the Canvas Teacher app and Apple pencil, to handle my social media reading and updating, and to go through most of my email and texting. This strap makes all that easier and much more comfortable.I have been having hand pain and cramping from using the iPad for years. But after a few weeks of using the strap I am pain-free and even the cramping is gone. Absolutely amazing.

I used this item for six hours and it broke. In fact, actual usage time was about ten minutes. The strap and hand band are held together by a small plastic swivel with four micro plastic tabs that snap together. The weight of my iPad air broke two of these tabs allowing the iPad to drop to the floor. Fortunately it fell only two feet onto a carpet. It took me absolutely by surprise as there was no stress placed upon the strap. I just stood up from my chair and "snap" there it went! If it were my fault I would just say be careful, as it it is, BE AWARE1!!The strap and handle are well made but i would never trust this plastic connection again. I would avoid this at all costs if you don't want the possibility of a damaged iPad.UPDATE. I contacted the seller and they were GREAT in assisting me. Within two days they offered me a refund or replacement. Good customer service.
