The tank is very clear and it was a great upgrade from my 5gallon Marineland portrait aquarium. The filter doesn’t seem too strong and it is a good setup for a larger betta tank. I would recommend getting a lid for it in case you have jumpers, I had to make my own with plexiglas glass. It also works great as a shrimp tank, there’s lots of room in the back for a heater if needed.

While it was easy to assemble, the filter current/flow is wayyy too strong. I had a single Betta fish put in the tank and he wasn’t able to swim without being sucked into the corner of the tank that flows water into the filter. He wasn’t able to swim properly because of this and became very stressed (based off his color). While it is a gorgeous tank it isn’t worth the price, you might as well get an empty 5 gallon tank and buy a separate filter.

Tank is very well crafted but i bought the 2.6 gallon one and it did not come with a pad, no worries ill just go get one however the main drawback for this beautiful aquarium is the side filter, theres no room to put your filter media in, while the side filter is a nice choice for aesthetic purpose, its only use is to create water flow it doesn’t filter at all since you cant put filter media in except for the sponge that comes with it in which case you might as well just buy an aquarium and a hob filter which imo is cheaper. I am very happy with my new aquarium though since i do not need a filter because its gonna be a full planted tank only but for those buying this for other purposes like keeping shrimps, i would suggest buying fluval as those have the best filtration.Edit: i dont know what happened to the water pump but its barely pumping water anymore, i thought that it just need cleaning but it didn’t work and it actually made it worse.

Buyers be aware that this aquarium comes with no light. Light in picture isn’t included. Also the filter for the tank sucks the food up in the matter of seconds so anytime you feed your fish you have to turn the filter off. It also doesn’t come with a lid so be cautious when picking fish as several will jump out. Overall tank is more pretty than it is functional.

The media could not be loaded. First of all, I ordered this nano aquarium believing due to pictures and description that it included everything even the heater. It doesn't!. All you receive is the aquarium, leveling mat, pump and one piece of sponge filter. The sponge isn't even close to being enough to filter this tank. The pictures show and the description talks about the full spectrum LED light perfect for growing aquarium plants - nada! Since I keep multiple aquariums and have spare supplies I was able to dig out a small heater and LED light. I went ahead and kept it since it would have been a pain to box it up and ship it back. If I hadn't already had the missing pieces to set it up I would have sent it back. The tank itself is well made with plenty of room in the back to customize the filtration to meet your needs. I have three other Lifeguard aquariums and love all of them, just disappointed that this one was not as described.

I'll keep it short, I purchased two tanks in different sizes from Lifegard, both worked out great. The glass is clean and clear - the pump is perfect, not crazy fast flow and silent - optimal for the tank size. The build-in compartment is great for hiding a heater and such. This is a good and solid tank.

Beautiful tall tank with plenty room for Beta and about 6 miniature fish, plants and a couple decorative rocks. Water stays clean as the filtering system is high quality. Great size as it fits perfectly under the kitchen counter but does not utilize too much of the counter due to its smaller width size. Would buy again for sure.

Does not come with light or heater. They bury it in description so you miss it and think you are getting a good deal. This should be a lot more clear. What’s worse, they have a photo of just those two things which leads you to believe you are getting them as well.
