All around great star looks great will last built sturdy projection is good , would be amazing if I had 10 foot ceilings or a shorter tree. 3 ft to ceiling would be best in my opinion, something that may be misleading is the power plug, not compatible with my LED lights as when I plug it into the light strip it is dim and light remote malfunctioning. So I just ug it in with provided wall plug.

A very nice tipping. The star looks good unlighted and even better lighted. We like the snowflakes projection. Easy to plug in and don't worry about changing batteries. Works great with a timed outlet to go on and off automatically.

This star tree topper is exactly what I was looking for. Fits perfectly on my 6.5 foot tree.

The media could not be loaded. Nice tree topper for any tree. Love the imaging of snowflakes twirling on the ceiling. Note that the star has glitter on the surface. Helpful hint is spray with hairspray to harden it before using. Be sure to cover up lens before spraying. Also the taller your tree, the smaller the image on ceiling. Overall, i highly recommend it.

I got this in the hopes that my ASD son would leave the tree alone and focus on the projection on the ceiling. Well, it worked as I hoped! I wish the protons was a bit wider in coverage area and it was a bit difficult to mount on the top of the tree… but overall it is great.

This star works exactly as described. There are some characteristics that need to be considered: 1. The base of the star has a very large hole. I put it on an artificial tree and had to gather several small branches into a clump to fill the hole and make the star more or less secure. This was not a matter of weight. It was a matter of the diameter of the mounting hole. 2. As others have noted, the distance from the top of the tree to the ceiling determines the size of the projected pattern and its effectiveness of creating a sense of wonder like that experienced when looking at a star filled, clear sky. I have about 10 inches from the top of the tree to the ceiling and the effect is too small to envelope those in the room who are taking a look. 3. The light emitting from the star - as opposed to the patterns being projected on the ceiling - is on the faint side. Some reviewers complained about noise made by the star's projection mechanism: I am particularly noise sensitive and I hear nothing. Kudos to the manufacturer on this point.
