Cantu Care For Kids Conditioning Detangle, 6 Fl Oz (2 Pack)

I have tried this a year ago on my kids curly hair and it didn't work when following the directions. Plus it used the product up very fast and it doesn't come in a big bottle, and it's not a couple of dollars haha.So I tried it again recently after looking this product up online etc. I tried using it on damp or slightly more than damp hair and it worked better. It doesn't detangle on its own now, you have to work knots, tangles etc, out with a comb starting at the bottom working your way up til it's gone, easily. This stuff helps to detangle with these tools more easily and quickly per knot/tangle even matted parts of the hair. I wet a small section with knots, and I spray water with a misting bottle and then right on the knot I spray this detangler, and I move on to like 1 other section, then go back to the first section and begin detangling with a comb. I do this for the whole head. I also use a detangling brush afterwards. These brushes do not get all of these knots out really, especially the ones that are tight and hidden on curly hair. Now I do it 2 sections at a time like this because my child has really curly hair and curly hair like his soaks up water etc so fast haha. So if I did his whole head, it would be dry by the time I got to the other parts and I would have to repeat the process and waste product.I use cantus kids leave in conditioner after baths mainly, and after doing this above, but only parts that are really dried out which are the fronts parts around his face. I use cantus curl refresher in the morning, and detangler if needed.At night I use the come back curl spray after wetting whole head with spray bottle, and put in loose pont tail. This isn't from the kids line and it really helps to retain mositure the hair looses at night, and reduces knots and matting. I use the curling cream for kids, sometimes after a bath and after using the leave in conditioner, then spritz the come back curl, since baths are at night.Before I even give a bath, I use the detangler, only on the knot, tangled or matted parts, so I can easily wash hair. I use the kids cantu shampoo and conditioner too. It really helps the other products work better, I tried using their products after using other kinds of shampoo and conditioners and I think their shampoo and conditioner works best for all of this. But this is me haha. I wish their products came with bigger bottles though. I have 2 kids that use this stuff.All their products work best on wet or damp hair compared to dry hair, and you use way less too.FYI:My kids are mixed, Asian American, vietnamese asian and white. Vietnamese have thick and very high level of black melanin, which is the same for African American people too. I had to learn a lot since 2 out of our 4 kids have curly hair, but all have thick thick hair. I have black and white family members, so I realized my kids had similar hair texture. I always thought Asain people had soft silky hair haha but realized vietnamese asians are a bit different with hair and skin color etc. So I was told to try Cantu and I finally did and it's amazing!Hopefully my review helps others not go through a lot of products or waste this product like I did haha at first.

I use this product in my 10 year old daughters fine curly hair, it detangles like magic. It smells amazing too. I highly recommend!

Everyone has different hair. I tried several products for my toddlers mixed race curly hair. Hands down all of the Cantu Kids products work amazingly in her hair. They smell great too. Many products smelled like grown up hair products. I wanted something less pungent and more like a children'sclean and yummy hair scent. Cantu Kids is a great match for us.

I actually use this for myself and I’m an adult. Having curly hair means your hair can get tangled. Usually my hair is easy to tame unless I put hair spray on rare occasions because I use an oil on a normal basis. Anyway, this spray cuts my styling time in half. I plan to use this on my child later on in life too since I’m sure they will have my curls.

Product is great for my children’s hair. It’s not greasy and helps untangle knots.

I've been looking for a product to tame my two year olds hair for a long time - this is the first thing that actually works to detangle the constant knots. Will definitely be a repeat custoomer - great product!!!

Use this on my preschooler for his fine longer hair. Makes it so much easier to comb out without tears!
