I bought this Blue Apatite palm stone to help me along in a weight loss journey. I’m a novice with crystals and using them for healing purposes; I often just buy them for fun but they generally end up being home decor. And this one is very pretty and decor-worthy! The color is a rich, beautiful deep ocean blue with caramel clouds. It has a nice heavy weight and the size is comfortable. But when it arrived and I took it out of the package, for the first time ever I immediately felt that “vibration” that everyone is always talking about with crystals. I placed it under the moonlight for a night and asked it to please help me meet my goal of losing 10 lbs this month by helping me to control my cravings and appetite. But I don’t even know if I had to do that.All month I carried it around in my purse with me and kept it on my nightstand while I slept. I did my usual weight loss routine of eating smaller portions of lower calorie foods, walking more, etc. All was going fine, and almost halfway into the fourth week, I had lost 7.6 lbs. I knew I wasn’t gonna meet my goal of 10, but 7.6 is plenty and I was totally happy with that and proud of myself. But the universe and this friggin rock had other ideas.On Tuesday night, I decided to order sushi for dinner. And at 3am on Wednesday morning, I awoke to find myself staring down the barrel of the most violent bout of food poisoning I’ve ever experienced in my life. For 36 hours, my body ejected everything that had ever been inside of me, including my soul. Today is day 30 and I’m down 10.4 lbs from my starting weight. I can say with 100% sincerity that my appetite is now under control. Thanks for reading and proceed with caution.

very nice stone, love it.

I was excited to get this, it does not look as good as it does in the photos online. this looks like it has been dropped a few times, there is a large mark in the corner where it has been dropped, discolored and chipped. the front is all scuffed up as well. even the back has a huge gash in it. I think i was sold a very defective piece or one that had been dropped several times and returned. the look does not change the properties, im moving this stone and using it daily. i feel it’s power. i went to a local store that had some identical and most looked about the same with the scuffs. i’ve changed my rating and score from 2 to 5 stars.

Beautiful stone

I got this to give as a gift and the quality is nice. It’s a good size and well polished. The colors are very pretty. I’m pleased.

Okay but very dark

As I stated in the title, the iolite is not actually a palm stone, but a small thumb worry stone. While the item description and images show a stone that is 1.5-2” in length and about 0.5” in thickness and smooth/puffy all around, the item I received was just a bit over 1.25” in length and 0.25” in thickness- flat with a carved thumbprint in it. Palm stones don’t have thumbprint dips in them, and they are larger than a thumbprint. If you go to the Amazing Gemstone website and search for “iolite worry stone”, that is what I actually received. The images posted with Google are deceiving, as they show a palm stone taking up a larger portion of a person’s hand, but the actual stone is just enough to cover my thumb and very thin. It would be nice if it were labeled, described, and priced based on what it actually is.At first I thought it was an error and reached out to Amazon for a replacement, but the replacement they sent is exactly the same, so it is just an inaccurate description. It is a lovely piece of iolite, but less than half of the size expected from the description. So my star rating reflects that.That said, I have ordered other items from this company that are as described, including the nellite, peach moonstone, and ruby kyanite, and those all came as described. So this may be an issue specific to this particular stone variety. If I were rating based only on the other varieties, it would be at an 4 or 5. The hackmanite dies change color in the sun- by the way, which is pretty cool, but only a small portion changed.All items with a lovely black velvet pouch.

Red onyx beautiful, citrine i was hoping for more brightness, aura quartz beautiful, amethyst not bad, Tiger eye absolutely stunning, shungite isn't exactly pretty anyway but very good for grounding, blue onyx kinda boring but it works, Larkivite absolutely stunning, hematite very nice, angelite i had to get a replacement because the other one was chipped but they replaced it very quickly, rose quartz i got a replacement because the other one looked like clear quartz this one isn't shabby, aquamarine definitely doesn't look like the picture but still not bad, dedrite agate not bad.
