Should work fine
I bought these to repair old, pagota style, landscape lights. My lights are 25 years old and the original innards are deteriorating. However, I havenn't installed any of the new ones yet. The wires appear to be rather thin (maybe 24 ga or thinner) . I did try a bulb in one of the sockets just to test the pin sockets and they appear to hold the bulb pins tightly enough.

As expected and advertised
Connectors arrived promptly, appropriately packaged, and are as shown in vender's pictures. The ceramic connectors (as advertised), look solid and G4 bulbs fit in well and firmly. I haven't used them enough to know if they will last, but I can't see any obvious flaws. I will update my rating if I come across any problems.2023-11-05 Update: These are still working great. People were asking if they have mounting holes, so I uploaded some pictures of the mounting holes, which you can't see from the product posting. They take #4 bolts/screws. (Although, you can get larger bolts in there, if they have undersized heads.) The bolt heads are recessed so that they don't get in the way of the bulbs. Well designed.

Sockets are as described. However, it would be nice to have a CAD drawing of the base, as that would speed up design of mounting brackets.

Good sockets for LED bulbs
I am using these to upgrade some SMD outdoor low voltage lighting to bi-pin G4 bulbs. These sockets are an excellent fit for 12VAC G4/T3 bulbs. The pins are held in tightly enough to not work loose over time out in the weather. Leads are long enough for most purposes. In my application, I'll cut the existing wire, then solder and heat shrink the connections.Given the material, these should be ok for 120VAC or incandescent bulbs. No plastic to melt. They don't include any sort of mounting bracket. I'll simply hot glue or epoxy them in place.Great value for 12 sockets. An excellent choice for DIY upgrades, retrofits and lamp making, especially when used with very safe low voltage LEDs.
