Icing was split on the side. Could not use.
Blue icing pkg was split in the side. I tried to duct tape. It did not help. It just kept seeping up the side as I squeezed. Ruined putting the house together.Unable to return or replace apparently. Just a waste of a project w/ my grand daughter.

Box is a bit misleading but Icing was great for building!
Would have given it full 5 stars if the box wasn't that misleading. The structure an build of the gingerbread house was great and the icing was one of the best ones as far as drying quickly and holding up the house. The ONLY reason for not a full 5 star is the box advertises that you can make the whole house pink and white there is 0 way that there is enough icing in the kit to do that. Also the icing that they do give you does not spread AT ALL to accomplish painting the roof or walls. It took me forever to get the roof of mine to be pink and I used every last drop of icing to do that. Great kit otherwise. Also don't judge me on the bad icing job I am NOT a professional.

Cute but Bad
Not enough decorations or icing to do as pictured on the box. Arrived with five cracks. The sides of the house were attached together and you were expected to separate them but they didn't score it deep enough so that also fractured.

Arrived broken but turned out great anyway
CONS:- Arrived broken all over the place. See pics We used icings to “glue” most of the pieces back together and let them set overnight.- didn’t come with nearly enough icing, we needed to be really careful & stretch it. Also, the icing packages were terrible, the white & pink ones burst open almost right away.- the instructions were non existent. Usually it wouldn’t matter but the construction for the little stairs made no sense, there didn’t seem to be enough pieces, or maybe those just broke. *shrug*PROS:- despite all of the above, a beautiful construction using the materials provided IS possible (see pics) with lots of patience and care. Not really for kids though, it took 3 adults to do this gingerbread house lol. A kid would have destroyed it, especially since there was no room for waste with the icing.- it took a couple days but it turned out BEAUTIFUL and I LOVE it.

Garbage!
Pieces were broken, icing dried out and not usable. Couldn't even assemble. Refund not available. Do not buy!
