Wonder what a good man should be? This book will help teens and adults understand what is really important and how young men should act. I also recommend young women read this book, as it will help them understand what to look for in a future mate. Wish there was one for young women so they, too, have a template to follow for a good, successful life.

This is the second time leading a youth/student study using this book. The updated version seems to be much more relevant.

If you work with young men in any form of ministry this book has great lessons. Easy read and discussion questions included.

The book is well worth the time to review and discuss with others. The questions at the end of each chapter are very useful for a group setting. Always read books like these with an open Bible, because it’s not the Scriptures, but it’s very good. There would be a few minor points that you could say are not entirely Scripturally accurate, but it’s a fine resource and it just takes some study and prayer to get the most out of it.

Highly recommended for every young man to read and heed the exhortations given by Pastor Ryle. Great book for fathers to go through with the boys as well. Pass it on to the next generation.
