Fit great, nice quality, good price.5/5Worked for 2004 Passat LATER MODEL YEAR.The last year of the Passat had two mirror styles.The earlier style which is on basically every Passat (and some Audi A4s) from 99-2004....and the later style, which is standard on many VW's 2005 and up.Strangely, very late model Passats from 2004 got the 2005 and up mirrors.No one will tell you this. Make sure you match the photo to the shape of your glass, it's pretty accurate and should be easy enough to tell.

Does not fit 2012 Jetta
The product is high quality. However, the post stated that it will fit the passenger side of a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta. It does not.

It fits and works as needed
Works exactly as expected. It is a great fit. I have purchased a couple of these. It is held on with double sided tape. I have never had any issues, but just keep that in mind. If you want to make sure there is no chance that it will fall out I would purchase some more permanent outdoor mounting tape, but again I have never had any issues with the included tape.
