Very helpful for CEM exams

Great practice
This is a great practice that will get your children/students ready before their exams. This can make what can be a very scary thing a lot less so. Great set of 10 minute tests that are well written and give an insight into the type of questions they can expect.

Good variety
This product has a useful series of 15 tests complete with answers at the back, and a progress chart to help track scores and encourage. The tests are short and multiple choice covering a range of data problems. There are some useful notes at the start to help with exam technique and for tutors/parents to emphasise.Could easily be used by either to improve a child’s performance.I really like the addition of the 11 problem solving puzzles at the end to build thinking skills. And the glossary of key words is also very helpful.

Very good
There are a few publishers of this type of book, and having looked through a few of them and had my children work through them, I would say these Bond ones are definitely worth considering. This book contains 15 tests, each lasting 10 minutes, with a few additional puzzles, useful tips and brief notes. The book is well laid out, printed on good quality paper, and has a handy, pull-out answer section which gives very good feedback for the marker.

REVISION BOOKS===============I have a few family members that are going through the exam process and need a little help.Sometimes a difficult concept is explained in school and quickly forgotten. Or the explanation isn't ideal That's where these books come into our own. They give comprehensive coverage on the subjects and give detailed, accessible notes on the subject.STRENGTHS===========The range all have very clear diagrams, photographs, and give little exam tips and fully worked examples. I've never come away from one of the books confused. They give practical practice questions which follow the exam-style.And they also give detailed answers at the back.WEAKNESSES============Sometimes I'd like a few more books. As when you've exhausted the book you often need more practice. But, as it is, these are the best you can get.THIS ONE========This Revision Guide helps you take the step towards the eleven plus. This one is for the maths aspect. It has well laid out study notes, examples and practice questionsOverall a handy revision tool to get ready and prepared for the 11 +.

Dreary looking but thorough
Bond workbooks have been around for years and they’re a bit like the more serious and dreary cousin of CGP books. That said, these books give a thorough workout of all types of data problem and are a good way to find any gaps in your child’s knowledge.
