A surprisingly good quality product. It allowed me to remove a centrelock disc and tighten up to approximately 40nM.

Some rotor lock-rings have large 16 notch flanges rather than the more usual internal splines shared with many Shimano cassettes. This bottom bracket tool also fits these lock-rings.The fit looked to be very loose but did its job. The other end is exclusively for the BB non-drive-side cup.

This tool made removing my Shimano Deore triple ring, crankset & bottom bracket very easy. I needed to give it a few heavy blows with a mallet to slacken the crankset nuts, however it held solidly with no sign of slipping. Would definitely recommend.

Actually worked better than I expected.Trying it on a Shimano hollowtech 2 (with adapter) the fit didn't feel great but when it came to doing the job, it was fine.Raceface out, Shimano in.Loses points for the pre load tool- don't even bother trying try to use it with the wrench, you'll need your own 6mm allen key.

Not sure why there are these anomalous reviews talking about bad fit and the tool slipping off. They must have either had a defective tool, or a damaged/cheap nasty BB. I am super impressed with how perfectly this thing fits - not even a nanometer of wiggle, super snug. Haven't used it in anger yet but I can tell just by putting it on my old BB cup that it will perform brilliantly.

I bought it to change the centre lock on my disc brakes. Quite long so loads of torque. Worked a treat. Feels robust and I am sure that it will give many years of service.

Arrived in less than 24 hours. Works well for Shimano centerlock brake rotors.
