Finally found one that fits. Update: won’t stay in place.
Update: Well I guess I wrote this review too soon. I just got it yesterday but since I was so happy to finally find one that actually does what I wanted it to I wrote a review same day. Big mistake. Unfortunately today I am processing a return. It’s great until you look down. It ends up on my forehead.I have been looking for a thin hairband. This one finally worked. I tried several sunglasses styled bands but they didn’t fit properly and way too much shiny plastic. I am happy with this band.Pros; good shape, not too tight, comfortable, hold my hair off my face and narrow and doesn’t stand out.Cons: way overpriced but since I can’t find a better one at a cheaper price I’m keeping it.

Sleek
I like this almost absent hairband. Its delicate. The only thing to get used to is the 2 sections of teeth that can hurt so you have to put it on carefully and keep it on in a loose way so you dont get stabbed.

Most comfortable headband I have had!
I like the width as it works really well with my pixie cut. And, it is so comfy you forget you are even wearing it. I highly recommend.

It Softens in the Sun
Beautiful laminate looks like mother of pearl. Great on gray hair. BUT it deforms and can fall off in the heat. Wear it in the winter.

Well made good looking but not for me
I ordered the product after reading all the reviews. I liked the looks of the product. But the teeth on the inner sides of the headband is too sharp for my scalp. I have fine, thin hair.

Best Plastic Headband: Some Maintenance Required
I have the onyx and the opera silver. I think they are very attractive and comfortable. They do not in my opinion really look like plastic and look somewhat like shell. If you want a headband that pulls your hair back tightly these will not do that. The warmth of your head makes them expand and you get a soft pull back. Which is exactly what I prefer. It keeps the hair out of my eyes while not giving me a tight pull back look and allows my hair behind it to curl loosely forward. I have a few headbands I prefer to these but they are handmade and covered in cloth. So when they are soiled that will be the end of them.As mentioned by others the headband expands to the point that after in my personal experience after 10 wearings it was so loose it would just fall out. I contacted company and got the following information which worked.Thank you for contacting me! The material that the headbands are made out of is called cellulose acetate and it is a stretchy plastic. The heat from your head actually helps mold it so that it gives you that more comfortable fit. If they do get stretched out over time one solution that we have found is to wrap a rubber band around the tips of the headband and use a blow dryer on high heat for a few seconds then wait for it to cool and it should have molded back to its original form. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Here is a link to our Luxe Look blog post about cellulose acetate:[...]After restoring the headband using the hairdryer, rubberband, cooling france luxe method, what I am now doing is as soon as I take the warm headband off I pinch the ends together and tie it with a rubberband and next time I wear it is good to go.Even with this maintenance required, for me they are still the most attractive comfortable plastic (and hence durable) available that also provides a soft look. If the ones I have stop returning to shape for any reason I will still buy more because there is nothing else out there that compares.

It fits perfectly
Sadly, I lost it so will have to buy another one. They are not cheap but I can't find a less expensive one
