I thought that it was a little small, it could have been a little bigger

Looks decent and does the job well.
This product is just as described: it is rusty and it is a fire bowl. It's made of thin sheet metal and as such it is light weight and very portable. The design of the separate bowl and base also means little heat transfer to the base from the bowl. With an intense fire the bowl gets super hot - as you would expect - but the base is cool to the touch. I started off using bricks under the base to protect my grass, but it quickly became evident that they were not necessary. The only con is that the rust is flaking off a bit at a time, so I suspect the rust look will eventually turn into a series of rust holes. Another thing to mention is that if you're cooking s'mores, it is a bit on the small side and it's only practical to have maybe four people in a circle around it.

Best looking fire pit by far for the money.
Outstanding look, nice clean modern design.. Beautiful rust finish (yes, it's a real rusted finish.) It fits perfectly on a pad of standard bricks, so we set it on an edge of bricks to keep it off the concrete to avoid stains. Works great, does not rust out as some people have said (we're in a fairly dry climate but it does sit out in the snow during the winter.) There is a 1/2 inch or so drainhole at the bottom of the bowl, and you do need to make sure it doesn't get clogged by ashes so water will drain. I have read reviews about the metal being too thin, but it seems perfectly adequate in thickness and we have no issues at all after using this for a couple of years on a regular basis.Update: October 2018. I still love this design more than any other fire pit out there , but suddenly the bowl developed holes that had rusted through. I'm going to probably have to replace the bowl, which is a shame.

Not very risky; pretty cool.
This thing might be that missing aesthetic cornerstone in your patio. It is really cool looking and unobtrusive. I wasn't sure what to expect; it's definitely cool. The rustic look seems authentic - no grommets or weird things here, just rusty metal and a solid rise from the ground to a fire. My first fire wasn't a raging success probably because of my terrible effort into building it but I kind of wonder if air circulation is a problem; I'm going to try and get a small grate to elevate the wood next time.

Sweet design. Good price. Does what it should.
This fire pit is a base with a bowl that sits on top. It’s big enough for a 3-4 log fire and functions as it should. It looks really nice if you’re into this design style. Some people complained about the rust. It may stain concrete, I cannot say as mine is on the ground, but as for getting on my hands/clothes this was not an issue as after I set it up I washed my hands and it’s not bothered me or shed on me while building fires.I would recommend this fire or if you’re looking for something smallish with a unique design.

This fire pit is excellent. The metal has a well rusted veneer, so it looks as if it's been in my yard forever. It is big enough to hold a couple of logs and the fire burns well, especially if you use a small round grate to help with air flow. It rises a couple of feet from the ground, so is substantial enough to draw several chairs around it, but it won't overpower your patio. It is also easy to pick up and relocate if you need to. I've been shopping for a fire pit for a couple of years, and am delighted to have found this one.

Don’t buy
This item is a fire hazard. I just took it out of the package and the top does not connect to the base. I am attempting to return this item and you have to pay for returns. The seller does not cover returns. This is the most poor quality thing I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. Since the seller will not pay for shipping back, it will cost $140 to ship it back… more than the value of the item. I’m stuck with the item… DO NOT BUY

A little smaller than I envisioned but all in all a good purchase. It is extremely lightweight but due to its low profile this hasn't been an issue in storms. It holds about 2-3 logs of wood comfortably and is perfect if you live in an urban setting without much space.

Flimsy metal
I bought this as a gift for someone. They seemed to like it and have not reported any issues. However, I did notice that it seems to be made of very flimsy metal, so I have some concerns about how long it will last once left out in the rain to rust further

Great for a rustic look, adding a mesh guard would work even better.
Love the look and good size for the space we have. Sturdy although we now have a brick base to avoid burning the grass again. It would be amazing if it came with a protective mesh cover to stop sparks flying out as it burnt a hole in my blanket. Luckily not my leg. Otherwise a great buy.
