Pair of CSB HR1234WF2 12 Volt/9 Amp Hour (34 Watts) Sealed Lead Acid Battery w/0.250" Fast-on Terminals

This provided an inexpensive way to resurrect an older APC Back-UPS RS 1500 (found used on ebay). YouTube instructions provided a detailed, visual description of the steps necessary. They were not hard... and the result was a very happy UPS. These were a direct (identical) replacement for the original batteries. Basically no need for tools.After installing batteries, I was able to run my workstation successfully with this backup power supply. It's already saved me time during thunderstorms with occasional brown-outs and brief outages. Previously, even a brief flicker would be enough to reboot my machine. These two CSB UPS12580 F2 batteries lasted 5 years from 2019 to 2024 in a UPS standby application on a PC.They measured 8.0Ah capacity when discharged at 1A DC at the time they were received, which was exactly as their data sheet stated.I highly recommend these 12V sealed lead acid batteries.

I purchased similar CSB batteries from AAA about two years ago. Those were purchased to refresh an aging uninterruptible power supply. That pair is still going strong today.The two additional batteries I bought recently are for a second UPS. I am extremely pleased with the genuine CSB batteries sold & shipped by AAA Security depot. The batteries they sent are long life, and quite fresh. The date codes are very recent (three months old). The resting voltage of the batteries as they arrived was 2.12 volts per cell, and the internal resistance of the battery was ~14 milli-Ohms. This is better than as specified on the factory data sheets.I will definitely be purchasing from AAA Security Depot again in the future when I need more of these 12 volt, sealed lead acid batteries. CSB batteries are well known as the standard against which all other SLAs are compared. I would use nothing else for my power needs.

Repetitive purchased for all my APC backup units.

Like: that the 2-pack is an exact replacement for the original batteries. That I had to remove some of the sticky plastic that holds the 2 individual batteries together for proper insertion into the UPS unit was expected, as was the reuse of the wires that interconnect those two. I spent about 45 minutes preparing the 2-pack before sliding it into the APC, which had been not functional for several years by no (the old batteries had no longer held the charge). From that moment on, the UPS worked as fine as it did when I purchased it - perfectly.Dislike: nothing really.

Cannot rate longevity.

I order these and installed into my battery back up and am getting less time on them when my power goes out than the old ones and still have no response from the seller

I use these all the time for my Cyberpower 1300-1500 modified and pure sine standing floor UPS's. They usually keep them going for anther 2 to 3 years, or until the eletronics finally give up. The fit can be a bit tight in some units, but does not require modification. Save the tape, plastic divider, and bridge wiring from the originals.
