Works with Starlink Gen 3
I recently purchased the Outdoor Cat7 Ethernet Cable (250ft) for my Gen 3 Starlink setup, and I’m thrilled with its performance, making it perfect for high-speed internet needs. The cable is robust and designed for outdoor use, with S/FTP shielding that provides excellent protection against interference. Its heavy-duty construction ensures it can withstand various weather conditions, which is a must for outdoor installations.I did need to cut the cable down from 250ft to 210ft to connect it directly without a PoE injector. While this required some effort, it’s not a fault of the cable itself. Additionally, I had to shave down the ends slightly to fit into the Starlink dish and router. Starlink’s requirement for a watertight seal is the main reason for this modification, but it worked out well. This Cat7 cable has been a fantastic addition to my setup. It’s strong, durable, and meets my networking needs perfectly. If you're looking for a reliable Ethernet solution for outdoor use, I highly recommend this cable. Just be prepared for some minor modifications if you're using it with Starlink!

Sturdy, tests good
I ran this down a wall, through the basement ceiling - tapping hooks in to support it along the way, and up another wall at the other end of my house. It tested good for all connections including for ground. I don't have a means to test the full bandwidth, but it's working great between two gigabit access points. Should be much better at shielding interference and futureproofing for higher speed connections later than the old cat5 cable it replaced, especially as in places it crosses power cables, cable tv wiring, etc.

Not For POE Outdoor Cameras - but good cable
I liked this cable. Heavy duty and can take abuse. I purchased the 150 ft version and it'll drive the outdoor POE cameras very nicely. /HOWEVER/ - most outdoor IP cameras come with a waterproof coupling. You can't get the coupling over this RJ45 end. That means that you have to either cut off the camera-end RJ45 and crimp on a new one. Assuming that you have the tools and the know-how so that you can use the waterproof coupling. If you don't have the tools or you can't be bothered you can substantially trim away the green plastic "boot" around the RJ45 until you can eventually force the waterproof coupling over it. It is a big hassle to do and when you have many cameras as do I it is a huge waste of time. I tried another brand of cable at the same time, also here on amazon.com, with the same specs. That brand had a soft rubber "boot" around the RJ45 and this boot could be slid backward, away from the RJ45 leaving plenty of space for the waterproof coupling. This other brand was quick, secure and painless. If you're not going to be using waterproof couplings are you don't mind cutting off and replacing the RJ45 then this is a great cable.

Works Great as a Strarlink Gen 3 Patch Cable - RV usage
I used this CAT 7 Shielded 25' cable to run from inside my RV to the engine compartment. In the engine compartment I used a VCE Waterproof RJ45 Coupler CAT6 to connect this patch cable to Starlink Gen 3 supplied cable from the ladder/roof mount. Worked great. For the the heck of it I tested an non-shielded 25' CAT 5 i had on hand and it failed miserably.

350 foot Ethernet run
I ran 350 feet of this Ethernet cable to my shop from the house. I was concerned about the distance and took measures to extend the life of the Cat 7 cable. I ran it through a wall in my office, in the attic and down to the ground about 180 feet underground. I put the Ethernet cable through PVC piping and glued the pieces together to keep the cable from the elements. This was over kill - because it is direct burial -but I didn’t want to do that job again. At the end of 2 days work - I am running about 930 megabits per second download speeds at the end of a 350 foot run. This is almost identical to the speeds I get at my comcast X1 router. The cable is thick and well insulated. I would buy this same cable for my next big Ethernet job. Highly recommend.

Still works great.
I ran this from the router in the living room, into our attic, and to my bedroom. It's been a few years now and I am so glad I bought a quality cable for this. I don't ever want to have to run another cable through the attic again.
