Great when you want to move up from the Testors airbrush!
I use an airbrush mostly for model painting on large surfaces, so that takes some patience. However, as long as the nozzle is clean, the spray pattern gives me good coverage and is economical on paint. Now, bear in mind this is a siphon feed airbrush, so expect a little lag between pressing the button and paint emerging. Also, choose your chemistry carefully...if you want to run acrylic through this brush, clear it with something water-based first. If you want to run enamel, then clear it with some enamel thinner. However, the siphon feed is better for beginners because if you lay the brush down outside of a holder, spillage will be minimal. Also, swapping paints is as easy as swapping bottles, although you can use the included color cup to run some thinner to clear the nozzle between shades.Sometimes (and this is just a hazard with any airbrush) you may need to re-seat the needle, and that only requires that you unscrew the back of the brush, loosen the needle holder, set the trigger button forward, and adjust the needle until you just barely get paint out. Retighten the holder, put the back of the brush on, and you're ready to go. A little tricky and lacks instructions (dinged one star on cleaning).I only dinged one star on "value for money" because the hose it came with was damaged, and it was missing the set screw for the trigger. However, I had a spare hose, and a new set screw was available off the shelf at the local hardware store.

Quality beginners airbrush
Nice airbrush, but documentation is a bit sparse. Works very well, easy to use.

Perfect beginner brush
This is not some high quality amazing airbrush, but it does paint very well. Super smooth spray, nice coverage, perfect for a beginner airbrusher like myself.

works well but VERY small chemical sensitive o-rings used
I've been using this to spray low viscosity (KG Gun Kote 2400 series) oven curable finishes. I have learned to clean the air brush without disassembly which exposes the o-rings to the cleaning agent/solvent. The airbrush has worked well for me for several firearms to this point.
