Tuff Torq Genuine 1A646025840 K46 Transmission 1/2" Spline Drive Pulley 4.90"

The ole pulley on the JDX300 was worn out all the teeth that follow the splines we gone. Take off the tension on the dry belt. Takeoff the lamp with a pair of snapping pliers remove the pulling, return the pulley and make sure that the dry belt is back on both pulleys front and rear along with the guide along the way and your mower should start driving again. we probably need to eventually look into the transmission fluid change however I believe this may be one of the ones we have to take it off the mower to change the researching. I’ll keep you posted.

Wanted to let folks know that this does work perfectly as a replacement on the John Deere X300 mower. The teeth were completely gone on the pulley I removed from the mower. The mower would not move forward or backwards. Have fun pulling the snap ring off. I broke two wrenches before the snap ring broke in two.

The teeth on my original pulley finally stripped and so I needed to replace it. This fit like a glove and seems to be better made than the original one.

This item worked perfectly on my lawnmower. Great price too.

This is the pulley driven by a belt from the engine that powers the hydrostatic pump. They seem to have a predictable failure rate and this item comes straight from the manufacturer which supplied the transaxle to John Deere. Our JD dealer seems to be chronically low on parts, so I went right to Tuff Torque for the part. It arrived very quickly and carried the same part number as that which JD uses. Very simple to install.

I had a no-move situation with my Craftsman 5500 Tractor a couple years ago, this pulley fixed my stripped out pulley. Present day, thought now my transmission was junk, overlooked this pulley till last resort before replacing my trans. Nope, this pulley stripped out as bad as the original! It should last 5 years or more.
