Very nice quality wooden people at a great price. These are smooth and ready for painting or decorating. We left ours plain so far and my kids love playing with them in their cars, trucks, planes and trains just as they are. My 3 and 1 year old both love these as toys, however, we took the smallest ones away, reserving them as perfect game pawn pieces, as they are too small to be safe as toys. The other ones fit perfectly in their hands, but be aware they are still small and they are not intended as toys for young ones so use your discretion. Makes a great gift for creative kids along with Sharpie markers, acrylic paints and small fabric remnants.

I wanted little wooden dolls to make world doll ornaments for our Ayyam-i-Ha tree and for my grandchildren for their trees. These little wooden people fit the bill totally! Very pleased with the variety of sizes and quality of the wood used. The paint and glue are adhering to the wood very well. I haven't had any problems so far. Depending on how well these turn out I plan on buying this again for other projects that include dolls from around the world.

I got these to paint into little figures of all the people in my 2 yr old's life. He LOVES them! I agree with the other reviewer that there could be a few less of the baby size and a few more of the adult size. But then again, I suppose it depends on what you want to create with them, some people might want more babies depending on the project.These were great quality, none of them were broken or mis-shaped in anyway.I had my dad use his drill press to drill little holes in the wooden cars & trucks my son already has so these guys fit into them. My son loves to play with them and I love that he isn't just using some un-imaginative toy with disney characters plastered all over it.

My kids (4 & 5) have been loving these. Very sweet to see all the fun they have in pretend play, making up little families and things like that. Order was exactly as described and I think it's very fair for the price. Will be buying these again for gifts.

comes with all shapes and sized. Such a great variety for making wooden peg dolls and gnomes etc. I love the value and was able to make a ton of fun toys with them.

while there were more tiny pieces than any other size. i did receive a good mix of sizes. These have been great for quick dolls to go with impromptu kids presents. a little paint and they look quite sweet. i plan on buying more

Indeed, this was one of the few places that I could find the wooden peg people for a craft project I was starting, and I bought it without much research. When the bag arrived, it had very few of the large pegs and a plethora of the tiny baby pegs. For the price I paid, I was getting each wooden peg doll for about 50 cents. I ended up discovering craftparts.com and was able to get these wooden people for a fraction of the cost (a bag of 10 large people cost $2.50). Definitely consider other options when buying.

It would be nice to know what the actual sizes of the pegs are. I could tell based on other reviews there were going to be more small pegs but i didn't realize they are mostly all small 1 inch pegs. The largest pegs (only a few of them in the bag) were about 2 inches.
